I wake up the same time, do the same things and head off to work.
The streets are a lot more quiet today. I mean, it snowed pretty heavy last night so no surprise.
I keep the café open for those who wish to dress like Eskimo and throw snowballs at whichever human being stands in their way.
Me personally? I enjoy the warmth of the small café. Snow isn't my thing. Never has been.
The normal customers haven't arrived yet but the emotionless guy from yesterday does.
He orders the same thing and sits on the same table. I can't help but wonder is there something wrong with him? I mean, he doesn't say much. Doesn't show some emotion. Just likes to sit on his own and drink his hot chocolate in peace.
Fair enough.
To ease time over, I clean the counter and some tables. I walk past him and glimpse at him. I wonder what's happening in his mind.
He stays an extra hour than yesterday just sitting there staring blankly into space.
He's definitely different that's for sure. He's also kinda cute.
Wait what? Did I just say that?
