Damien enters again looking a lot happier than yesterday and that encounter/argument.

He stands and stares at the menu before looking at me shocking me.

"Good morning, can I have a Mocha latte please?" He asks smiling slightly. Finally! Some emotion. Okay, you're right. I shouldn't joke about it. But hey still nice to see a smile on his face.

"Of course, to stay in?" I ask to double check. He nods.
I make his drink and hand it over to him.

"£2.40 then", I prepare the machine for him. He takes his drink and sits on the same table.

He stares into space again taking a sip every so often. I really do wonder what he thinks about.

He finishes his drink and leaves it there with a tip? He never leaves tips.

He's just full of surprises I guess...

°A very few hours later°

Today has been pretty quiet. A family of four visited and got lunch and coffees, an old couple also came in ordering teas but no one else came in.

Maybe people have just had enough of spending their day time in a small café drinking the same things. Who knows?

Well, don't look at me. I don't know. I just do my job and go home.

A police car parks outside and two officers walk in. "Good afternoon Miss, we are on a investigation and would like to ask you a question", one of them says.

I smile. "Of course, go ahead!" They pull out a photo of the same boy whose been visiting for four days straight.

"This is Damien, have you seen this man?" They ask. "Has he been here recently?"
