One Year Later

Jennie runs to the sidewalks and waves her hand. "TAXI!" She shouted when she spotted a taxi driving to her way but it just rushed past her. She groaned and checked her watch. She's about to be late in ten minutes and her office building is ten minutes away by car.

"TAXI!" Finally, the taxi stopped for her. She put down the scale model she held carefully to the taxi first before she got in, this scale model couldn't be broken, or she could lose her client.

It turns out it took exactly ten minutes, but she forgot about the queue on the elevator. She really freaked out, she could be dead by now. It's exactly nine o'clock right now. But, it's like God hears her worry, somebody calls her.

"Hey, Suga, what? Am I being fired?" but she only heard a chuckle from the other line. "The meeting is being pushed to the afternoon at two."

"Damn it!" Jennie shouted and made everyone turn their heads to her. "Sorry." She smiles awkwardly.

When she arrived at her office floor, she passed by the pantry room and spotted Sugar was there making coffee, so she turned to the room. "I couldn't believe I stayed up all night only to be held hours later than I was supposed to." Jennie whined while she put down the scale model of a column for the New York Public Library.

"Isn't it nice you come to work at nine? You can go home at five like normal people." Jennie rolled her eyes. She preferred to come by to the office at twelve and leave at nine. Being an architect in her office kinda has its advantages. You can go to work by choosing the time from nine to twelve and get done after eight hours of work hours.

"I don't want to borrow my work to go home. It's nice when everybody leaves the office and there are only a few people at night, it makes me get done fast." Jennie said.

"Hey, Jennie! Wow! Nice column! Don't you have to be at the meeting right now?" Somebody just came in and spoke to her right away. "Hey, Hyoyeon. Thank you. No, it got pushed."

Hyoyeon her co-worker, was about to turn on the microwave to heat her soup but something's wrong with the microwave and it got short-circuited making it burst a light from the inside.

"What the hell?!" Hyoyeon screams and backs away. "Ugh, they didn't change the microwave, did they?" Jennie groaned.

"Nah, I told them a million times but they only said it will come soon, which is apparently never." Suga answered.

"But, my soup! I don't feel well these days, and my grandma's homemade soup is about to be bad if I don't eat fast." Hyoyeon cried.

"How about we buy soup in Soup and Soup two blocks from here? You can't eat cold soup, it's not good for your throat. Besides, Jiyong isn't here yet until afternoon." Jennie suggested. "Okay, let's go, Suga are you coming?"
