As Xing made her way into the potions classroom, only half of the people were in there.

What? I thought we would be late...?  She checked her watch which she charmed to work magically instead of electronically. Oh. We're actually 3 minutes early. Oops. She glanced at Lily and the rest of the Golden Squad, which she referred to as the "Golden Trio", and saw them snickering when they checked the clock.

"Really?" Ron asked, "It starts in 2 minutes? Are you serious?"

"No, I'm not Sirius Orion Black. I'm Xing Jia-Yi Lu." Xing smirked.

Ron groaned and said, "That's way too cliche."

"Did someone just say my entire name- oh." A voice spoke up. She whirled around to see her face to face with Sirius.

"Aren't you that girl that ranted in the Great Hall?" He asked, scratching the back of his head.

"Yes." She smiled sweetly while saying, "Did the paint taste good?" Sirius wrinkled his nose and said, "It tasted like glue mixed with crayons."

"You ate glue and crayons before?" Xing asked, incredulously.

"What? No!"

"Then how did you know the paint tasted like glue mixed with crayons?" Xing asked, blinking.

"Er..."

"Yep. You definitely ate glue and crayons before."

"Hey, have you seen Prongs- I mean, James? He's not here yet." Remus asked.

Xing smiled and said, "Lily can explain." She tilted her head towards Lily's direction and they headed over to Lily.

"Xing said that you would explain where James was." Sirius said.

"Really?" Lily playfully scowled at Xing.

"Yes?" She feigned innocence.

Lily sighed and said, "We may or may not have hexed him and he might still be hanging upside down since he doesn't know the counter-curse."

"What?! Why did you do that?" Sirius asked, frantically.

"Mate. Calm down." Ron said.

Xing spoke up, "He was being an evil git by bullying my friend, Harry." She nudged Harry with her shoulder.

"What did he say?" Remus asked.

"He said that I was his." Lily sniffed.

"And that I shouldn't stare at Lily. I can't believe he would think that..." Harry glanced at Xing and they burst out laughing.

Imagine dating my own mother. Especially when you know that she's your mother. Harry's voice echoed in the Mind Group Chat. Ron and Hermione caught on and they started chuckling.

"What's so funny?" Sirius and Remus asked.

"N-nothing!" Xing choked out, "You better go save your little Prongsie before he manages to set the entire hallway on fire by accident."

Remus and Sirius exchanged glances, nodded, and left.

Xing went back to her desk and bumped into a Slytherin who spilt several books and items from his bag.

"Watch where you're going." A quiet voice came.

"Oh, sorry." Xing hurriedly waved her wand and the items floated back inside the bag and the books stacked by themselves.

"Oh, hi Sev! It seems you've met Xing!" Lily cheerily said, walking over.

"Sev?" Xing looked up at the Slytherin. Her eyes widened.
