Y/N POV

Tomorrow is the crowning ceremony, I know it is so soon. But Jungkook's father insisted that we must have it in 2 days' time. The girls and I decide to go out and buy all the necessary items that I may need. Jungkook is prohibited from seeing me until the ceremony.

Soyeon: Now that the shopping is done, I say we have a spa night.

Y/n: That would be great, actually! Besides, Jungkook is prohibited from seeing me, so I was going to spend the night alone. It would be great if you guys could stay the night.

Sana: Sure, I'll just ask yoongi.

Chuu: I'm up for a night away from my mate today!

Y/n: Is everything okay with you and Taehyung?

I quietly asked her while the others were distracted.

Chuu: What? Oh no, you must have misunderstood me. Taehyung and I are great. It's just that Taehyung can be a real hand full and I will gladly take any opportunity I can to spend a night away sometimes. We respect each other's space. Before you came, the boys used to have a hunting night where they would just leave the borders and do their own thing. At least once a month.

Hwasa: Girls quickly hide Y/n, Jungkook, and the boys are coming this way.

The girls quickly made a human wall around me, and I just giggled to myself.

Jimin: Well, look who we have here.

Chuu: Hello boys, what brings you to this side of the world?

Taehyung: Hello love, Jungkook is driving us insane! Just let him see Y/n, even if it is one small glance.

Jisoo: No ways in hell.

Jungkook: Aww, come on Noona. I just want to make sure that she's alright.

Sana: OH, trust us, Alpha is alright.

Soyeon: BTW we are staying with y/n tonight. So don't even think about breaking in.

Jin: Great, then we can go out for old times' sake.

Jungkook: I'll see you tomorrow, princess.

I smiled at the pet name that jungkook called me.

Time skip [night]

We were all sitting in the pool talking about our mates. Well, at least they were. I didn't know so much about Jungkook just yet. Hwasa told us about she and Namjoon met, and Sana told us how madly in love she was with Yoongi. After that, we changed into our pajamas, some face masks, and watched a movie. In no time, the girls were fast asleep, but I was wide awake. I kept thinking about my job as Luna. I didn't know how I would do, I don't even think that I am fit to be a Luna.

I decided to go out and get some air. I looked at the office not so far away from the house and remembered how Jungkook had shouted me for going inside. Well, he wasn't here. Besides, maybe I can find a book about how to be a luna or something there, that could help put me at ease. I walked to the office and noticed that it was unlocked. I walked inside and switched on the light. my eyes went back to the picture wall. I looked at the wall and saw how young Him and his friends were.

My eyes traveled back to the picture with Jungkook and that girl, only now I recognised her, it was Krystal. They were both staring into each other eyes with bright smiles on their faces. I looked at the date, and it read October 2022. No ways it was recent. Is that why Jungkook didn't expect me as his mate? Because he was in love with Krystal! I looked back at the wall and so much more pictures with them together, in every single picture, they look happy together.
