When someone is placed onto this earth, they have a purpose, whether that is growing up to accomplish their dreams, or becoming a great influence for younger people. A purpose River has not found yet. Growing up, River had a big imagination, he was such a pure, kind, energetic kid. Like any other kid, River wanted all the toys in the world, especially bikes. While his parents were not able to give him a good life, maybe someone else is out there that will take River under their wing.

Most kids at the age of four are enjoying life, whether they have a sibling or not. At four years old kids are going to be playing, messing around, and just living life as a child. That was not the case for River. At four years old, River had to figure out a way to get through life on the street. Here in Zoryine, no one cared if there was a child on the streets, hungry and cold, shivering, begging for some food, or warmth. Everyone who passes by, looks down and walks away. No one has the decency to crouch down and ask, just ask the child if they're okay, where their parents are, why they are out there in the cold.

Until one day, River was walking around looking for something to eat when a man approached him. He crouches down to River's height and says. "Hey buddy, where's your parents". River looks around, surprised that someone cared to ask. "I don't have any," River replies. The man frowns "What do you mean by that buddy," He says. "Hey do you need something, no one in this city will stop a street kid and care about them," River says. "Where do you live?" The man questions, ignoring what River said. "I don't have a place, this city is where I live, right outside,". River says. "Come with me, I'll give you food, shelter, and warmth," The man says. River ponders, wondering if he is lying or not. Even though River is a child, he is smart for his age. River thinks of the about the good things if he goes with the man, he won't have to search for food, he won't have to find an empty place to curl up on the floor to try and get some sleep, he'll have a roof over his head instead of having to hide behind trash bins to get away from the rain. "I'll come," River says, walking forward to hold the man's hand. "Don't worry, your life will be filled with action," The man says, walking towards his place.

Little does River know this may or may not be the worst decision he has ever made.
