Monday, July 18. Morning.

"Good morning, get up please," said Akechi gently as he stroked your upper arm.

"Mm…Goro…"

"We have apartments to look at. But first I want to take you out to breakfast."

You sat up in bed. Akechi was fully dressed already. "I have a question."

"And that is?"

"The mornings after, you go a little further with spoiling me," you said.

Akechi blushed. "Do I really? I suppose you just look so beautiful some mornings I can't help myself."

You shook your head and laughed. "You're so cute, you know that? One moment you can say things like that and the other–"

"Kill people?" Akechi raised an eyebrow. "You've wasted enough time making these remarks, I'm choosing your outfit." He opened your dresser and started rummaging through it.

"Hey! Get out of there!" You said, flying out of bed.

Akechi picked up a lacy pair of panties you had never seen before from your underwear drawer. "Why? I bought these for you."

"Did you put those in there?" You said, snatching the panties.

"I was waiting for you to find them." He smiled, his eyes closed when he did so.

"How sexually pent up are you?"

"Hm? Me? What about you Mementos-chan."

Akechi handed you a shirt and a pair of shorts, as well as a new pair of socks.

"Don't tell me…" You blinked. "You've memorized my wardrobe?"

"And what if I have?"

"My boyfriend memorized my wardrobe, illegally pulled my medical records, committed several counts of murder and assault on my behalf–"

"Your point is?" Akechi said, his voice sour.

"I kinda like it," you said, walking towards the bathroom to get dressed and ready for the day.

"I told you, I stalk you," Akechi called from the other room.

You eventually emerged fully dressed. "Is it really stalking if you tell me you're stalking me and I fully consent and like your stalking?"

"You have a point…" Akechi frowned. "I dislike hypotheticals. For a cold, dark moment I imagined my life without you in it."

"You have really been laying it on thick lately," you sighed. "The amount of compliments have started to outweigh the insults. You haven't called me a slut in a while, I kind of miss it. Are you okay, Goro? I mean, setting aside all of the bullshit we've been dealing with."

"I won't be okay until he's dead," said Akechi quietly.

You took his hand in yours to encourage him. "Okay. Let's get going. I don't know much about apartments, so you'll probably have to do the choosing."

Daytime

By lunchtime, you and Akechi had already seen several apartments. Your mind was spinning, and stuff started to look the same to you by the end. You had warned Akechi you probably couldn't make a decision, so he picked one for you. He listed his reasons why, the biggest being security and how soundproof the bedroom was. You didn't ask the price, but Akechi told you not to think about it, so you pushed it from your mind.

"I don't know if my parents will let me keep my bed if they cut me off. They paid for everything in my apartment." You were sitting across from Akechi at a table outside a cafe.
