━━━nancy wheeler, the sweet shy girl was standing in the middle of the hallway, feeling all alone as she waited for Jonathan byers. she waited by her locker, and after a bit she noticed jonathan from across the hall, exiting his classroom.
her lips beamed into a bright smile, waving shyly at the boy who pressed his lips together and looked around before making his way to nance. "Halloween party tomorrow... you should come with me and Jackie"
"and who?" he asked, his arms wrapped around his stomach as his bag hung from one of his shoulders.
"I met her with Vanessa, she's coming too. you know, the cheer captain, but she's also bringing another one of her friends too.. maybe we could make a little group.. I don't know, it's stupid" Nancy sighed.
"it's not stupid.... I'll think about it" byers sighed. he really only talked to Nancy, she being the only one who dared to come up to him after people made others believe he killed his brother a year ago. Plus, Jonathan wasnt a social person. He hated meeting new people, hed rather just hang with nancy and his brother.
he looked over to see a guy run and push past students through the halls. He quickly looked over at nancy in confusion who just shrugged with a small smile spread across her lips.
they heard the guy laugh as they watched billy turn the sharp corner. "get back here, fuck face!" billy growled, approaching closer to the student with the puffed out brown hair.
Billy Hargrove is the newest resident of Hawkins, Indiana. He was already growing popularity from being an asshole and (already decided) next year's basketball team captain.

the brunette ran past many different students, jumping ahead and using their shoulders as support. Billy was able to catch up pretty easily with the help of tommy hagan jumping in front of phoenix valentine.
"hey, valentine" the redhead grinned before Billy grabbed onto him, "fuck off!" phoenix snapped back, throwing his hands as he tried to get away from billy and tommy.
"let go of him!" someone yelled.
"jonathan ... leave it be.." Nancy grabbed onto Jonathan's arm, her fingers resting in the crook of his arm. phoenix leaned his head back, seeing Jonathan and Nancy upside down.
"oh hey" nix waved before tommy kneed him in the gut. Phoenix groaned, trying to lunge forward to hold his stomach but billy still had a grip on him.
"what? is this your boyfriend, Lover?" billy grinned, a tilt to his head as he spoke, looking up. Jonathan stared at billy, his nostrils flaring a bit. "oh, it's byers. you're the one who beat up steve harrington, huh?" tommy laughed.
