-----------------------------

It was Friday after class, and your entire weekend was full of mischievous activities with Sebastion. You were going to go on a date, a picnic to be exact, tonight. Then sneak up to the astronomy tower and watch the meteor shower on Saturday. You were swooning for Sebastian, daydreaming about the plans.

Walking out the doors to the middle courtyard, you spotted Sebastian, a smile grew on your face as you walked towards him.

You stop dead in your tracks, Sebastian was leaning over the Ravenclaw prefect, his hands resting above her head. "I just love your voice," Sebastian was flirting with her, she giggled her hand brushing down his arm. You turned quickly, trying to hold back your tongue. You rushed through to corridors, dodging other students. You ended up in the greenhouse, finding a secluded corner by the various pond. You sat against the glass paneling, pretending to busy yourself in your notebook.

"Hey baby," you heard a familiar voice from above, you looked up, and Sebastian smiled down at you.

"What do you want?" you looked back down at your notebook, a stray tear falling onto the open pages.

"Woah what's wrong?" Sebastian held out his hand, you didn't move.

"Go back to that other girl," your words were harsh, "You just love her voice."

"That wasn't anything, I was ju-" He was beginning his excuse.

"No Sebastian, I won't let you lie to me like you do everyone else," you shoved your notebook into your bag, standing. Sebastian grabbed your arm.

"Y/n really, I was-"

"Just shut up while you're ahead," you shoved his hand away. Storming off, you hurried through the halls, ramming right through groups.

You made it to the Slytherin common room, finding peace on the couch near the big windows. Sometimes you liked to sit and imagine the giant squid swimming by, students always claimed to see it but that was a lie. You opened a book, staring at it blankly, as long as you pretended to be busy no one would bother you.

"Hey," Ominous was standing in front of you, "I uh-" he rubbed the back of his neck nervously, "I overheard your fight with Sebastian," you patted the seat next to you. He sat hesitantly, you felt a surge of frustration rushes over you.

"Yeah, he's just terrible," you heard yourself speak, your book falling off your lap. A pressed flower fell out, a flower Sebastian gave you on your first official date. You picked it up, a feeling of guilt washing over you.

"I just don't think I'm good enough for him," you pushed the flower back into the book, your true feeling escaping your mouth, "He could have any girl in the entire world."

You felt your eyes swell with tears, dabbing them with your robe sleeve.

"That's not true," Ominous set his hand on your wrist. You wrapped your arms around him, sobbing onto his shoulder, his body tensed at your touch.

"Sebastian was flirting with somebody else already," Your voice was whispered and muffled, assuring no one else in the echoey common room could hear you.

"That's not true," Ominous said abruptly.

"Yes it was!" you shouted, how could Ominous not believe you. People's heads turned to look, eyes shifting uncomfortably.

"I talked to Sebastian, he was only trying to get the perfect to help you two sneak out,", Ominous pushed you back.

"Oh my god, I have to go," you stood, gathering your things and hurrying around the castle. Running to every possible corner, You finally found Sebastian at the boathouse, he was sitting on the edge of the dock, the tip of his foot skimming the water. You stood breathing, huffing, from your journey. You walked slowly, sitting next to him. You grabbed his hand, placing the pressed flower into it.

'Sebastian," you spoke softly, "Ominous told me what really happened," he looked continued looking down, "I'm really sorry."

He stayed silent, moving around the fragile flower in his hand. You two sat in silence, the sun setting on the horizon.

"I-I know what it looked like," he said shakily, stuttering over his words, "I just-well she overheard Ominous and me talking about it and I had to make sure she wouldn't snitch," he shook his head.

"Oh Seb, I feel terrible," you put your arm around him.

"Goes for both of us," he layed his head on top of yours.

You both stayed down there, feet dangling over the water, arms around each other in forgiveness.
