After I wore my uniform, I sat on my bed contemplating whether to go to school or not, but I had no choice because mummy would soon call me downstairs.
" Niniola!!!!" She yelled, speak of the devil
" Coming mum" I said, carried my school bag and went downstairs. Breakfast was quiet this morning, dad was still sleeping and Dara has gone to work. Just me and my mum.
We are not close, so we don't talk all the time only about something really important. After I ate my sandwich, I went to the car to wait for her.
The drive was silent. So let me introduce you to my school. LIGHTHOUSE COLLEGE, I loved the school when I was fresher, but right now I would love to run away from it.
Our uniform was white short sleeve shirt with a short dark green splited skirt, and then a dark green cape that had a connected tie to it, then we wear black socks and shoes.
" Niniola aren't you coming down" mum said and I looked outside to see that I was at school. Wow so fast
" Bye " I waved her and she gave a small smile.

I entered the school hall for assembly, I was one minute late, I stayed at the back so I won't cause distractions.
" Good day students" the principal Mrs shola said from the pulpit
" Good morning ma" we all chorused
" Welcome to a new term, I hope you enjoyed your break. So this term we are going to have three school competitions, the first one DEBATE competition, then we have our Interhouse sport, then the last our inter school traditional day_
The inter school traditional day is going to take place in Abuja with Rosehill and The royalty's international The competition is the last this term and it's going to be fun, we just need you pay 20,000 naira " she said, this school and the money they are always requesting.
Because of what she said it cause noise in the hall" silence please" she yelled from the pulpit "I'm not using your money for anything, we just told you to bring that amount for your accommodation and feeding. " She said which is true we needed accommodation but wait how many days were we spending.
" We are spending one week at Abuja" she answered my thoughts. Well I can't wait to go.
After we sang the national anthem and Everything we left the hall to our class, when I entered my class my class mates were looking at me weirdly
" Niniola, I've been looking for you everywhere" kendall said as she she came to my sit.shes my best friend
" Is it me or are people looking at me somehow like not in a good way" I had to ask her
" Have you checked the group chat" she asked and I quickly brought out my phone and checked the chat.

I ran to meet him, I tried to hold him but the eyes he gave me sent shivers down my spine.
" Umar please i can explain, please " I cried out
" What is there to explain, uhn... I thought you were different, I thought I could trust you niniola but look ....... Look at what you did" he said as tears left his eye
" I.... I'm...... S.... Sorry " I cried going down to the floor, my knees were weak
" After everything, you even cheated on me with who...... JAKE, the person we both hate, NINIOLA. " He said anger laced in his voice.
" It's ....... Not true, Umar..... I'm...... Begging you please listen to me" I begged but he just hissed
" What is there to listen too, niniola I'm done with you ok, I don't think there's anything else that can bring us back together" he dropped the bombshell and left

I exploded, I burst into tears, screaming in the hallway, I felt like I needed to kill myself. I was hurt, guilty and angry, there was no words I could use to describe my feelings at that moment, I ran to the toilet and cried my eyes out. I didn't imagine my first day at school to be like this, I wanted to kill meself
And then I noticed that kendall was not with me anymore, since Umar left, I didn't see her again which meant only one thing
She was behind it
Kendall was behind all this.....
