Oh my Gosh, I am so frustrated when I read stories about Facebook/Twitter/texting for demigods. Some of these are the best stories I have ever read, by others not so much. The start is pretty much the same for all of these stories, with vague explanations on the electronics. That doesn't normally bother me, but I have seen it like 1000 times. Why is it Leo creating the monster-proof phone every-time? Why can't they use magic for this stuff? Hecate cabin. This brings us back to the fact that the minor gods aren't well treated.
My pet peeves from these types of stories:
1.Same plot. (cliques are just people doing horrible remakes. For example Godzilla.) In every "Demigod Chats" story I have read, Leo makes a better phone or something. Gives it to all the campers and bam they talk. Some point in these stories Harry Potter(from the best seller Harry Potter by J.K.Rowling) and crazed Fangirls pop up. Umm... Well that's way too common.

2. "What the Hades" is the most used phrase, and Hades tells them not to use his name as a curse.

3. Another over-used phrase is "Look it's a whale!" Always after, '._____.' honestly 2013 and 2014 stuff, and way over-used. I once read a story where literally every single chapter said "Looks its a Whale!"

4. Annabeth had to correct everyone. OOC much? ( In these stories she would say *Out *Of *Character) Annabeth likes to be right, but that isn't really her thing, possibly one of her siblings could have this trait.

5. Persassy, over-used. Only a few times in the books do I remember Percy being Sassy, I love Persassy, but when people put Persassy they write thinking he's sassy, but instead make him a lunatic.

6. When it's not a Facebook chat it's a Twitter or texting, written just like a Facebook. Twitter is different from Facebook. And texting is a lot different.

7. Shouldn't Sally and other Mortals be able to see this stuff, the Fangirls can but their [mortal] parents don't ever check.

8. On Facebook pictures can be posted, more pictures and GIFs are posted on Facebook than Twitter, even though Tweets can have pictures. But most fanfic a don't have pictures not even descriptions of pictures.

10. The Gods either are always shown or always caring. The Greek gods never really did care for their kids.

11. There comes a time when all the names of the characters are switched around, people run out of ideas, and
use this one.

12. The OCs always are from the Big Three, Or one of the seven's siblings. Except the forbidden children. They always get the good guy, and can calm Leo down. [See my last chapter for more]

13. They're allowed on Facebook everyday, honestly there is not time to be on phones all day, Sunday and Saturdays may not always have chores, but what about lunch and breakfast, dinner? All the other days are training and chores.

14. Certain Characters ask others for dates through this. Well that's really fake and social network is not the place for this stuff. Or breakups happen over this.

15. Only certain people are in the chat. The seven and an OC are the most common of these. Better writers use all of Camp-HalfBlood, but when it's mainly the seven, Hazel and Frank are forgotten. The best writers use both camps, including the nymphs and gods.
Leila the 4th cohort leader is shown as well. She is one of the few named Romans an is often forgotten. Some writers have Frank and Hazel go on, but Reyna takes them off. Also, I prefer the stories where the Underworld gets reception, that's one aspect that could be forgotten.
