Chapter 17- Engagement (Part-1)

Hey guys, so I'm back with another update. I know, I'm really very late this time, it's been toooo long since I last updated, n I'm really very sorry for that guys, I was really stuck up in a lot of things, so didn't get time to update. Very sorry for making u guys wait for so long, I really hope u guys will understand my situation. Thank u for waiting patiently. I really appreciate it. Now moving back to the story, in the last chapter we've seen how Raghav gifted the dress to Pallavi n requested her to wear it on their engagement, Pallavi too agreed. After that they selected their engagement rings. Now let's get back to the story.

Two days went quickly, everyone was super busy with the engagement preparations. While Sulochna & Amruta were still not happy, they just had to accept the fact, that nothing could be changed now. Reluctantly they helped other family members in the preparations. Raghav & Pallavi couldn't meet each other in these two days as they were busy, but they made sure to talk to each other on phone.

Now it's their engagement day.

Raghav & Pallavi were extremely nervous. They were feeling a lot of emotions, all at the same time & nothing could calm them down at the moment. After all, it's their engagement day, they were bound to feel all the emotions today. But they knew one thing that they can overcome anything & everything if they are together. Everyone in the Deshmukh house & RR Mansion were busy in the preparations. Farhad was making sure that everything is at it's place, he just doesn't want even a single thing to go wrong in this engagement. He personally looked after all the arrangements at the venue, n made sure that everything is perfect.

Few hours before the engagement,

Raghav & Pallavi were sitting in their respective rooms. They were extremely nervous right now & wanted to talk to to each other. After a lot of thinking Raghav finally decided to call Pallavi.
He dialed Pallavi's no., after 2-3 rings, she picked it up.

Raghav- hn...hello Pallavi

Pallavi-Hii Raghav

Raghav- Hii...vo mujhe puchna tha, kaisi ho tum?

Pallavi- theek hoon...aur tum?

Raghav- hn, main bhi theek hi hoon

Both of them gets silent for few moments.

Raghav- Nervous ho?

Pallavi- hn, bohat. Tum?

Raghav- bohat zyaada.

Pallavi chuckled a bit after listening to him. Raghav Rao was nervous, that too because of his engagement. This was quite surprising. But she didn't say anything. She herself was feeling to nervous, at the moment.

Raghav- kya hua?

Pallavi comes out of her thoughts.

Pallavi- Nhi...kuch nhi.

Raghav- hmm. I still can't believe ki aaj humari engagement hai, time kitni jldi bhaag rha hai na...

Pallavi smiles listening to him. It gave an unknown, warm feeling to her heart.

Pallavi- hn, believe toh mujhe bhi nhi ho rha hai, yeh sab ek sapne jaisa hai.

Raghav- Hn...ek khubsurat sapna

Both of them smiles remembering their moments till now.

Raghav- Chalo ab tum taiyyar ho jao, bohat late ho rha hai, venue par milte hai.

Pallavi- Ok

Then they bid each other gud bye & disconnected the call.

Mansi & her friends helped Pallavi get ready, Mansi earlier insisted on going to the beauty parlor but Pallavi refused as she doesn't like much make up, then Mansi too agreed as Pallavi is a natural beauty & doesn't need any make up. So they got her ready at home only.
