I'm here now. it's beautiful. The air is delicious.

But

Light             leaves

I'm lost.

I'm there. Home is not here yet.

Something just bit me. A spider? Likely a

noiseless patient one. I'm ok, and then

something bit me.

I remember more life than when I was living it.

The wind drifts with busy summer evenings

when the neighbors were grilling and our windows

are open. I smell our conversation.

There are clouds above now. Time isn't golden,

just

smoky.

How can you fit so many memories into one being?

I have so many memories and I'm still so young

No wonder we forget

New Soul, by Yael Naim

Today I went tailgating and met her family. I miss mine.

Thats the thing though: I'm going to visit at Thanksgiving, but it won't be the same. I've lived that time and I can't go back.

That's the nature of nostalgia.

Family and I are not on the same thread of fate.

Goodnight.

Waiting at the pharmacy

Five prescriptions, five too many

At checkout: "What are you singing?"

                 "Paradise"

Could heaven on earth be words?

They are perhaps the closest

to true creation

We have.

There was a word at the beginning they say

I wonder, who spoke it?

Architecture, soaring, spiraling, swirling

Colorful or not

The room seems taken up by the fish tank

Blatantly serene.

Today a thin grey blankets the city

So that the tallest spires

Have an empty

Space in between

planets must be lonely.
