~Kitai's P.O.V~
"Girl!!"
I flinched as I heard my father's voice boom from downstairs. I sighed as I forced myself off my bed and stumbled to the door. I winced in pain as I limped down the stairs because my legs were still soar from my previous encounter that I had this morning. Once downstairs, I was greeted by my parents and a strange looking man. The smell of alcohol oozed off his being.
Oh no.... Not again!
"We have a little task for you this evening," my mother told me with a sickening smile plastered on her face.
"B-but mother," I tried to speak. "J-just this morning I..."
"You had the entire afternoon to rest!" my father snapped. "You have a job to do so I suggest you stop making a fuss and get your ass out of here!"
And with that, the stranger threw my mother a really fat bag of coins and dragged me out of my house.*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
After my little appointment, I was left in a room alone that night. As usual, the man my parents rented me to had his way with me until I was left nothing but a sobbing bag of flesh.
It had always been this way ever since I was 7. My mother claimed I was gifted for being so beautiful and able to earn them so much money with my ways. Even though I was always against the idea. It felt so wrong! I could never do anything about it. So it just went on like that. My father despised every atom of my being ever since I was born. I know mom did too but at least she didn't show it! Dad hated me so much he and mom didn't even bother to name me! And he would do anything and everything in his power to make my life miserable and me feel like I was worthless. And eventually I started to believe it.
I stopped making a fuss everytime he'd just beat me up for the sake of it. I stopped siding with mom every time she reminded him to try not to kill me. After all I was just a way to make them money. I had no other use so what was the point of my well being. Being left for dead was the norm for me.
That was until tonight..........It grew quiet. Really really quiet. I assumed the man was asleep so I crept into the kitchen to get a cup of water. The sight that met me was more horrible than anything I'd ever witnessed or gone through.....
Blood.
Lots and lots of blood splattered everywhere from the ceiling to the floor. Who's blood? I soon found out as a corpse was suddenly thrown into my line of sight. It was the man! I stared in horror.
"W-what? How?" I gasped.
"My, what a lovely girl you are!"
A foreign voice spoke from behind. I turned slowly to see in the darkness, a hideous looking creature. Blood dripped from its hands and mouth. The man's blood.
"I bet you taste just as good as you look," he said, grinning and started to advance on me.
I was terrified! I tried to move but all I could do was stumble and fall backwards. This made the creature grin wider. I was as good as dead! There was no one there to save me and even if there was I bet they wouldn't care enough to try. After all I was useless. Who would care if I disappeared?
That's what I thought.
I closed my eyes, ready to accept my fate when suddenly I heard a slicing sounds. I took a peek to see the creature's head rolling on the ground and disintegrating."H-huh?" I breathed and then heard someone.
"Tsk, what a waste."
It was a man. He had a sword and was wearing a black and white striped haori over a weird outfit. He had a white snake around his neck and and mask across his face. He looked at me with a glare. He seemed like he didn't want to be there.
