This is how I had my first kiss:

I was, eight years, cutting a piece of cake at my cousin's, Polly, wedding, when Dave's (my cousin's friend) son comes up behind me and drags me to the empty tent. The wedding was outside with three tents. Anyway, the boy, Jake, corners me.

"Is there something you want?" I say, getting creeped out. His light blue eyes locked with mine. For a wedding, he looks under dressed compared to me. He had jet black, tousled, hair and a light complexion. He was wearing a dirty tux. I thought he was playing in the dirt. I, on the other hand, had my brown hair curled in a ponytail, with  huge brown eyes and the same complexion. I was also wearing a yellow flower dress.

"I just wanna play tag." He said holding out his hand. I took it as I said, "Ok." We ran around the tents, laughing, getting dirty. I ran around the empty, but then I tripped backwards on my back. I saw Jake running towards me, only to trip on top of me. He fell hard on my body.

"Get off me." I said struggling. I turned my head towards his face to be surprised by his lips. They touched mine ever so softly. Then I realized what was happening. "Ew, gross, how could you do that." I say pushing him off me.

"Admit it, you wanted me to." Jake says, smirking. His smirk made me very annoyed.

"I'm telling my mom." I say, stomping off. "MOM!" I yell. I turned around to see him following me.

And that was my first kiss.

    ***8 years later***

"Meg, time for school!" My dad said, knocking on my door. I looked up at my alarm clock. It was only 7:30am. School started in an hour.

"Can't I have 5 more minutes?" I asked groggily, not getting up. My door opened, and there was my dad and mom holding a tray of my favorite breakfast; chocolate chip pancakes with eggs and sausage. The pancakes had a candle in it. I totally forgot today was my birthday. The day I turn 16.

"Happy birthday, pumpkin." My mom said. I blew out the candles, and made a wish. I wish today would be a good day.

"Now get out I have to get dressed." I say shooing them out of the room. I had made a plan; I was going to wear my birthday outfit tonight at my party. So, I decided to wear a plain red t-shirt and denim capris that had red jewels on it. I put my hair in one braid in the back. Over the years, my hair has grown past my back, so the braid was pretty long.

I walked out of my room, and went downstairs to eat my birthday breakfast. My mom stopped me at the end of the steps. "Are you really going to wear that to school? What about your birthday outfit?"

"I'm going to wear my birthday outfit at my party tonight." I say squeezing past her into the kitchen, where my food was. I ate it fast so I wouldn't be late, but I savored every bite.

"Are you going to eat a school lunch today?" My dad said, not looking up from reading his newspaper.

"Yeah." I say checking the time on my IPhone 5. "Look, it's 8:15. I gotta go." I say kissing my dad on the cheek. "Bye, mom." I yell up the stairs. She had to take a shower. She has a job interview today. I heard her say, Bye sweetie, but it was muffled. I grabbed my backpack off the couch and walked out.

I walked up the steps of the giant school to be greeted by my two best friends, Lilly and Sam. We all decided to stay in the same school until college. We became friends in pre-school.

"Meg! Where were you?" Lilly said, crushing me in a hug, her blue eyes wide and her curly blonde hair tickling my face. Sam was next to get me into a hug. He has short jet-black hair and brown eyes. He never found out, but I'm pretty sure he's Asian.

"Sorry, I'm late, but you guys forgot something." I say crossing my arms.

"We did?" Sam says, scratching his head. I sighed. They looked at me, confused. I sighed louder. They still looked at me confused.

"Guys, it's my birthday!" I said, practically shouting.

"Oh, we knew that." Sam said. "We were saving all the celebrating for tonight." Sam said, as he shrugged.

"Oh, and Meg?" Lilly said as we walked into the school. "We have a new student  in our class. Already he has every girl in the school drooling over him."

"Oh, really? Who is he?" I asked smirking, thinking I wouldn't drool over the new student. That's when I saw him.
