There he was, Jake Johnson. He hasn't changed; his short dark brown hair tousled with the same blue eyes that will make anyone hypnotized. He caught my eyes. "Meg. I didn't expect to see you here." He said walking coolly towards me.

"Shit." I muttered. I flipped my hair and said, "Me either. So why are you here?" I say through angrily. He smirked at my angry expression.

"I go here as of today." He said, stepping closer to me, his blue eyes sparkling. As I look up at him, I realize that he has grown quite alot. He is now like three inches taller than me. I look behind me at Lilly. She is staring at him like he's the only chocolate bar left in the world.

"You two know each other?" Lilly says, stepping towards us, never taking her eyes off Jake. Jake didn't seem to notice, he was too occupied by me.

"Unfortunately, yes. He's my mom's best friend's son. We haven't seen each other in 8 years." I say facing Lilly. Sam was busy trying to talk to some girls. By the look on the girls' faces, he wasn't doing very well.

"And you never introduced me?!" Lilly says, stepping between me and Jake, twirling her hair. I groaned.

"Look, we have to get to class." I say grabbing Lilly's arm. "I hope I won't see you around." I say grabbing Sam's arm too and walking to first period Math.

School was over and I was walking outside. I saw someone out of the corner of my eyes wearing all black and had black hair. A school rebel. I then knew exactly who was following me.

Without turning around, I said, "What do you want Jake?" He steps around to face me.

"I was just wondering if I'm invited to your party tonight." Jake said, smiling a crooked smile. I don't know why, but that smile was breathtaking.

"No." I say, walking towards the direction of my house. I heard him say, bitch under his breath, but kept walking.

I was so excited for my party. Only everyone in my grade was invited because my mom doesn't want to clean up a whole lot and since she thinks most of them only have sex on their minds.

As I walked through the door, the house smelled of nachos and cake. I inhaled it, as my mom came from the kitchen.

"Mom,that smells delicious." I say trying to walk into the kitchen. She blocked my way.

"You have to wait until your dressed." Mom says, pointing upstairs. I ran up the stairs, excited.

I went into my room and found my bday outfit. I was wearing a strapless black dress with black lace flowers on the outside; like a long lace, see-through blouse. I bought this dress two weeks ago, when I was already planning my party. I heard the doorbell so I changed quickly.

I came downstairs to see the one person I'd least expect: Jake.

"Jake, you're early." I say falsely. When he saw me, he looked at every part of my body and stopped on my face. Pervert much.

I crossed my arms. "Jake, may I speak with you." I say walking down the stairs.

"I'll just put his present on the table dear." Mom said walking into the kitchen.

"So what do you want to talk about Meg?" Jake said, sitting on the opposite couch than me.

"Why are you here? I already told you you're not invited." I say as he moves onto the seat next to me.

"Maybe I just wanted to see you." He says, leaning towards me. I immediately froze. I knew what he planned to do. And just like when I was 8, I am going to be disgusted. His lips brushed mine softly. I closed my eyes. His lips tasted like mint, like he freshened his breath before doing this. He moved hi hand around my waist and pulled me closer. I let him because I want him to enjoy something he'll never do again.

I didn't want to open my mouth; I just wanted to purse my lips, but his mouth opened up mine. His cool breath all inside. We didn't realize we had an audience until now. The door was open, with Sam and Lilly in the doorway, with their eyes wide and mouths open.

He kissed me so well I wanted to keep going, but fun's over. I pulled away and cleared my throat. "Hi, guys!" I exclaim. Jake just leaned back and looked satisfied. I wish he would wipe that smirk off his face. I whispered in his ear, "You're a terrible kisser."

He got up and stormed into the kitchen. That wiped the smirk off.
