I finished my performance and made my way back to our table gated off by the crowd. I was congratulated by all the other nominees as I passed there tables and eventually arrived at mine.

As soon as I got back to our table Jack Grealish was drunk and put his arm around my shoulder and was closely followed by Denise who gave me a kiss on the cheek and began to tell me how proud she was.

"My Jordan! I can't believe it! Best new artist!!" Denise said giving me a hug and pushing jack off with a laugh.

"Have you got any other nominations?" Tolami said giving me a hug after Denise.

"I'm not sure? It will get announced for what award it is and then the nominees and then obviously the winner." I explained to tolami as she nodded along in agreement.

"Im so proud of you." Mark said greeting me as he pulled my chair out next to Jude and Jobe.

"That performance was well better than the other night." Jobe said surprised.

"Yeah Jobe because I was 14 shots and 7 tequilas down last time!" I said rolling my eyes causing the whole table to laugh.

"Dya reckon you'll get any more?" Jude said putting his arm around the back of my chair.

"I don't know! I don't care tho im so happy as it is I cannot believe it." I said looking at him in the eye.

"Mhm im honestly so happy for you. I get really guilty because I never supported your career like you did mine...." Jude said looking guilty. "But you didn't need me fucking hell! Look at you." He said pointing to my Grammy.

"Don't be silly. Thank you for everything you do Jude I love you." I said hugging him tightly which he excepted.

We spent a few more hours at our table until they had the final award of the night. "Ultimate number 1 song" and the "ultimate number 1 artist(s)"

I was a few drinks down so I wasn't thinking as clear but I ended up sat on Jude's Knee because Declan Rice who was presenting an award came to our table to see the lads and I gave him my seat.

The time finally came were the evening ended and the final awards were to be presented.

" The Nominees for The number 1 song of 2022 are.... Central Cee, Aitch, Stormzy, Ed Sheeran, Adele, Jordan Rayes and Olivia Rodrigo...."

I felt my whole body pause hearing had been nominated and I felt Jude's hands fix around my waist as we waited to hear the winner. The lady began to open up the envelope and took a long pause whilst reading it.

"JORDAN RAYES!!!!!" She yelled out and I burst into tears as this was one of the biggest awards.

"JORDAN GIRL! JORDAN YOU WON YOU WON!!" I heard tolami shout as everyone jumped up from our table and began jumping around.

"Jude I can't walk I'm drunk as fuck." I said still crying in happiness causing everyone to laugh.

"JUDE JUDE!" Denise yelled flapping her hand. "Help her to the stage she's a bit tipsy love." Denise said gesturing to the stage.

I made my way onto the stage back through the crowd with Jude's arm linked to mine and he held my waist as I walked up the stairs to the platform.

"Oh my god!" I said in between tears as I held the massive trophy that stood in-front of me.

"So Jordan. What do you have to say for this massive, massive achievement and considering the fact that you are only 19?" The presenter asked holding my arm as I was crying my eyes out.

"Ah I'm ruining my makeup!" I said with a sigh still crying but laughing at the same time. "It feel's indescribable! I don't think I could have done it without my people. My people who are here supporting me and making me laugh everyday. Thank you to everybody at home tonight too for making this life long fantasy come true! Now I'm crying and I need to fix my mascara!!" I said as I dabbed my eyes.
