"You fucking moron, you really had to shoot that guard Matt!" Vathek's deep voice rings out, while we all run down the ten flights of stairs. I roll my eyes while I run behind Aradia. They can do their bitch fight after, but I do not have the time to hit them both right now.
"Hey hey! Not my fault that he looked weird at us. I had to make sure that he understood that it was not us who broke in," Matt's voice says while he is trying to catch his breath as he runs beside me. Up at the top of the stairs, a loud bang is heard, and we all put more effort into our running.
"Oh Really?! Good fucking idea Matt! Now they really know that it was us, you are such a dumbass!"
"Not now guys! We are trying to escape or have you forgotten that already in your little goldfish brains?!" I almost yell while I take the last step down the stairs, Aradia is already by the exit door. She quickly opens the door just as the rest of us get there with our heavy breaths. The moon is still shining low over the sleeping city. I can see that the others are running towards the car that Vathek parked in earlier that evening when we got here. I stay a little behind the others to ensure everybody is here, even though I heard them on the stairs. Aradia, Matt and Vathek, we are all here. Before I know it Matt pulls me with him over to the car. We get in and Vathek drives off before the guards get out of the building.
"Ew ew ew! I did not want to get sweaty today! I just washed my hair," Aradia sighs mad, while she tries to put her lengthy, black hair up in a ponytail. I lean back and look out of the speeding car, while Matt smirks up front.
"You always look good, Ara! Even though you are the one that smells," Matt says while he is laughing and Vathek rolls his eyes a little before looking at the road again. Aradia flips out and starts hitting Matt from behind him.
"I DO NOT SMELL! YOU ARE THE STINKY MONKEY!" Matt just laughs more and he tries to hide behind the car seat.
"At least I can reach stuff at the top of stuff," Matt utters as he finally gets away from Aradia. Aradia puffs out an angry sigh.
"Yeah?! But I can get you to do stuff for me!" she says before she leans back against the seats, she looks over at me and rolls her eyes.
"He is an idiot!" I just laugh and shake my head.
"I know Ara, I know."
I wake up a bit to someone lifting me up in the air. I am about to freak out when I feel the arms holding me closer to the person, and their lips kiss me soft in my hair.
"Relax moya lyubov, it is just me." I relax when I hear Vathek's deep, soft voice. I smile a soft, little smile before I put my arms around his neck. His strong arms pull me closer towards him before he heads up the stairs into our little house that we all share. While we head up to our room I hide my face in the crook of Vathek's neck. Vathek slips out a little, soft laugh, while he opens the door. He walks into the room, where he lays me in the bed. He just has one little problem, there is no way that I will let him go right now, so I let out a small whimper. I try to pull him down into the bed with me, but I have no luck with that. I feel a smile on my forehead.
" Moya Luybov, I will be right back okay? Just need to get your nightly cup of water and make sure that the alarm is on. It will only take me 5 minutes." I let out a small sigh and slowly let go of him.
"Okay... But be quick okay?"
" I promise. You will not even know that I am gone that long." He gives me a small kiss before he heads out of the bedroom door. Even before he is fully out of the door, I am already sleeping peacefully.
