The most annoying sound in the whole world can be heard. I don't even open my eyes before I reach over to my nightstand, so I can hit my phone to make it stop playing that annoying song. I really should find a better song to be my morning song, but who has the time? Definitely not me and also if I choose another song, then I will never get up on time. Guess it is just a hope that I will someday change it. I slowly open my eyes to the still dark room as I turn a little bit to Vathek still sleeping peacefully. Good, so the stupid music did not wake him up, not that it probably would, as he has gotten used to it. I slowly take a hand up to his black hair to remove some of it off his forehead. I give him a small kiss on his cheek before I slowly climb out of his arms. I put the blanket around him a little better before I head over to our bathroom. I turn on the lights, and I go over to my closet to find some clothes for the day. I walk back into the bathroom after putting the new clothes on a chair. I go over to the shower to turn it on, Vathek does not like it to be burning hot, but he is not here right now, so I turn it all the way towards the heat.

I still have around 40 minutes left before I have to leave the house. One of the others can make breakfast for them today as I do not feel like trying to make it with the little me time that I have. I take off my clothes before stepping into the hot water. I close my eyes and relax a bit before I slowly start doing my shower routine. I reach towards my good and only shampoo, but I can't find it and that is weird as I know that it is always right here. I start looking around before I let out a big sigh.

"Really Matt... You had to go steal MY shampoo... He better pay for a new one later today." I just steal some of Vathek's shampoo, he will never notice it. After a bit, I turn off the shower and take my towels. I step out of the shower and start to dry myself off, while I hum a song. I put the towel around me, and I put my hair in one before I head out into the room to put my work clothes on, lucky I already got it ready on the chair. I look over at the time, and I almost drop the clothes. How in the world can I be late already, not that it really matters that much, but it is still bad to be late. I even tried to be quick today, but Matt's little stunt apparently took a little more time than I thought. I quickly change into my underwear, a dress shirt and a skirt. I quickly take my black heels in one hand and all of my other stuff in the other. I walk out of Vathek's and my room.

I walk quietly past Aradia's room, no need to wake up the grumpy morning person, Matt can do that later if he wants to get beaten by her. I walk down the stairs while I put on my heels, with no time to stop and do it then, I finally reach the front door where I take my car keys and jacket. I open the door and look out into Busan's quiet, dark streets, the only illumination being the faint yellow street lights and a few twinkling lights in the neighboring houses, revealing the life of humans on an early, cold morning in March. I walk the stairs down to my daily car, which I unlock before throwing my stuff onto the front passenger seat. The gentle yet nipping breeze ruffles my dark, chocolate-brown hair as I rapidly jump into the car and turn it on as my car playlist starts playing. I smile a big smile and start singing along to the performing band before I start driving towards the office.

On the medium-long car drive towards the office, a call stops the music just as the new song is about to reach its best part.

"Oh come on! No one has to call this damn early! They could wait a few hours, I have not even gotten my coffee yet." I let out a sigh before I look down at the phone, the number that shows up looks a little weird. A number from a different country and none that I know of, even though I know a lot of foreign countries' numbers because of the mob world, yet I can not distinguish the country of this particular number. I quickly take it before the person decides to hang up. There is nothing coming through from the other side, and I raise an eyebrow because of it. I am about to just hang up when a voice comes through. A voice that I thought was dead. A person whose permission to live should have been denied by the Gods while being buried in flames with their ashes lingering amidst the winds of hell. A voice that could give everyone nightmares as it resonated through your skull like a bullet you did not see coming.

"A little mouse is playing a dangerous game, let's see if it can stay alive." I almost wreck the car as I do not know what to do and before I can do anything the caller is already gone.

"How... it should not be possible!" I look around with wide eyes, but I can't see anything besides other cars that are starting to honk at me because of the wreck that was almost caused. I throw the phone over in the other seat as if it was on fire and had left my hands burning before I take my shaking hand back onto the steering wheel.

"Come on Chae-Young! You are better than this! You are not afraid of... No! I am not, not even thinking about that abomination." I shake my head before I focus on the road that is starting to get busy again.

The car pulls into my personal parking spot, and all of the other workers are already there. Good, then they are not slacking off. I turn off the car and turn sideways to get my bag. On the way out of the car, I take my phone and put it in my bag. I close the car door and look over the parked cars, where everything looks normal which is good and gives me nothing to worry about. I turn on my heels and make my way over to the elevator with the echo from my shoes filling the building to announce my appearance. I am not in the mood to walk up the many stairs today. Sometimes I do it if I have not been busy with missions, but today I am going to be lazy, which I deserve. I press the button to go up to the top floor before leaning against one of the walls on the way up. It only takes a few minutes, so I decide to pull up my phone and go on the security videos around and in my house that I share with the others. The lights are still off around and in the house, disclosing that they are all still asleep. Lazy asses, I think to myself with a grin escaping my lips.

I look up when the doors open and put my phone down again as I walk out of the elevator. People stop and turn around to see who is coming in late and in response to their searching, curious glances, I keep my head up high. The people around me who I meet on the way towards my office do their bows in honor to me, before I return with a small one and a smile as I am heading into my office. Being a lawyer is hard work, even more so when I hide the truth about what I really do here, but for my luck, my appa owns this company, and since he is aware of my doings due to his own participation in it, he let me take over the whole deal. The door closes after me, and the light turns on automatically, something the boys wanted as they are too lazy to turn it on when they sometimes come with me to my office. The room is a big one, but I have made it homie, yet it is still classy. I walk over to my big, messy desk that is still full of paperwork that is almost falling over. Normally I want it to be neat, but I have been too busy to focus on that, causing me to let out a little smile and shake my head.

"I really should start putting them away, but that will be a job for later," I mutter as I put my stuff on my cosy couch that is standing by the wall opposite the wall of windows. I take my phone with me when I head over to my desk before sitting down. I turn on everything and I look at my emails, both my normal lawyer duties, but also the emails for how the sales are going in the bars. It takes a few hours so I move my shoulders a bit from sitting down as they have started to ache. A knock can be heard at my door, and I quickly look up and put another side on my computer. My assistant opens the door and looks in.

"Miss Jeon? Mr Lee is here. May I let him in?" I smile a big smile and lean back, "Let him in. Let me see what he wants or what I can help him with."
