Later that night star couldn't sleep thinking about what tom said but she had bigger things to worry about. A month after the coronation the war officially began, star fused her magic with her armies weapons. Having a lot more of probability of winning but during the war....
"Toffee come out and fight me you coward"star said up the sky. She then looked down at the bloody battle below her. Seeing many citizens of mewni fall and injured she decided to do a risky move and do an unfinished spell. Forming her magic into a sword and charging into the center of the battle field sending the monsters flying back to they're camp(This only affects the monster).
The mewmens celebrated a short victory but soon the monsters came back. Star is already weak from the unfinished spell but she once again rises to the sky and the battle starts again.
During the peek of the battle demons from the underworld arrived and they were winning but star was at her limit and being hit by a ball of green magic certainly didn't help. As she almost reached the ground a warm embrace caught her on time screaming her name. She hears a familiar voice before blacking out.
A week later
"Ah"star winced slowly openings her eyes and saw a red horned armored boy"Tom?"star said weakly as tom gave her a small smile"How are your feeling?" "I'm ok-*gasp*the war I have to-" star fell back to bed from the pain.
"You need to rest starship"suddenly a servant came in along with king river. The servant whispered something to tom and he excused himself"How are you feeling sweety?"king river asked"Extremely painful"star let out a small laugh as they both smiled"How long have I been out?"star asked and king river hesitated to answer"it hasn't been that long sweety what's important is that you rest well take of the rest for now"king river said reassuringly as star went back to sleep and he left.
Later that night when tom returned"Your majesty the king of mewni is waiting for you in the garden"said a servant and tom went to the garden. As he arrived king river said"Thank you for agreeing to our agreement Tom" "it was the best option for everyone"tom replied beside the king"I hope you keep this from star just until she is fully recovered or when you feel the time is right"the king said and tom agreed.
