A/N: Sorry once again for taking so long to update! Being a procrastinator and an author does not mix well, who knew? Please review or comment if you can, it'd really give me more motivation to post as I love hearing what people think about my story!

"When I said I was hungry, I didn't think you'd take me to Saize." Yumiko expressed her disappointment as the two found a booth to sit in.
"Be grateful unless you want to pay for your own meal." Hachiman retorted. He had a zero-tolerance policy for disrespect against Saizeriya. He wasn't sure why it had such a bad reputation. It was good food for a cheap price.
"I'm just saying! Saize isn't bad but there are plenty of restaurants that happen to be better." She shrugged, picking up the menu on the table and looking it over.
"Thank you, but I enjoy having money to spare." He waved over a nearby waitress who made her way over to their table with a smile.
"Welcome to Saizeriya, have you two decided on anything?" The waitress said cheerfully.
"Yeah, I'll have the Alfredo Pasta." Hachiman replied. It wasn't what he usually had but things have changed a lot in his life recently, so another change wouldn't be bad.
"And how about you, miss?"
"A Hamburger, please." The waitress nodded before speaking again.
"Great! And what about drinks? We currently have a promotion for couples; you can get a milkshake for half-off if you order it with two straws." The implication was left unsaid, they all got what the two straws were for.
While Yumiko's cheeks flushed at the thought of an indirect kiss, Hachiman just coughed awkwardly into his hand.
"That won't be necessary, I'll have a coffee with extra sugar." He replied, the waitress nodding and writing it down before looking at Yumiko expectantly.
"A chocolate m-milkshake." Hachiman pulled out his wallet and paid for their food.
With that, the waitress left the two alone and took the mood with her. The two sat there in awkward silence, with Hachiman getting more irritated by the second. Eventually, he spoke.
"Do you really still get embarrassed at the mention of an indirect kiss?"
"S-Shut up! It's basically the same as a real kiss!" Hachiman scoffed at her justification.
"Not at all." He crossed his arms. The smirk on his face for some reason rubbed Yumiko the wrong way.
As much as Yumiko expressed her displeasure eating at Saizeriya, she didn't dislike it. The food was pretty good, and Hachiman was surprisingly good company since she had yet to find herself bored in his presence.
She would've never thought that of all people to be at a diner with, she'd be accompanied by one Hikigaya Hachiman.
The fact that she was in such a scenario would remind her not to judge a book by its cover. Not only because she managed to find help in an unlikely source, but also because he was a far cry from being unpleasant. Even his usual cynic outbursts were more annoying than they were unbearable. Everything seemed to be going well.
That was until she arrived.
Yumiko didn't even notice her until she heard Hachiman mutter under his breath.
"Of all people to run into..." The loner was barely audible, though Yumiko was still able to hear him. Her head turned to the entrance to see who exactly he was talking about.
The woman he was referring to was nothing short of beautiful. Bold black hair, magenta-colored highlights, and a demanding gaze that made her soft smile seem out of place. It didn't even take a minute for Haruno Yukinoshita to recognize the loner.
