Chapter 3

the next morning I made sure I did not see Topper because If I did I might have killed him for what he did. I was on house arrest by topper (like he can tell me what to do). I texted Kie for her and the guys to pick me up at my dock. I sunk out without Topper knowing I know my mom would not care because she was never here and i lie to her all the time. I see them pull up

"Took you long enough, "I tell them getting on the boat

"sorry we had to get something" Kie says I look to see there was scuba gear

"Someone catch me up please" I say. "Wow so you stole from the camrons and now we are going to the marsh which is closed today because they are looking for the reck that we are now going to"

"Yup"Kie tells me

"Got it"

"What is the princess scared of getting caught" JJ says getting in my face he know I hate it when I get called that

"You know I am not and Don't call me Princess" I say walking away for him and I sit by John B "how is your eye"

"I am fine dont worrie about it" he tells me as he drives the boat

"Still it was my brother who did it to you"

"But you are not like him ok" I nod.

When we get out there me and Kie were looking at the tanks

"This is empty. You took empty tanks?" Kie tells John B I go and pick up the last one

"Ok this one is a quarter full it's enough for one of us"I tell them

"Love it when a plane comes together" pope tells us

"Does anyone know how to dive" Kie asked

"I do I have been once or twice" I tell them Kie nods and I get ready but John B grabs my arm to stop me

"No I will do it I.."

"You dont even know how too" I tell him

"I dont want you too I'll be fine" I shake my head at him and Kie Jumps in the water while the boys talk to John b when she comes back up

"I tied my shirt to your shaft stop"she tells him

"Be careful ok" I Tell him he nods

"Diver down"

"Diver down" and he jumps down I go and sit down and I see them looking at me "what"

"You ok" JJ asked me

"Yeah just my brother being an asshat"

"So nothing new" I nod but then we hear the cops

"Shit JJ"pope says to grab JJ attention

"Act normal"

"What are you kids doing the marsh is closed" the officer tells us, you see they doesn't listen i told them that

"Sorry we didn't know" I tell him with a sweet smile

"Why... why is it closed?" Pope asked him

"Well, we're conducting a search out here. Boat went down. Seen anything?"he asked us we all shake our heads no, I am getting worried about john b I hope is is holding his breath

"No boats"

"Where's your friend you always hang with? He here?"

"working" He nods at us but i don't think he believes us

"Hm. I'm gonna check your little boat out." and with that he gets on our boat

"of course"

"go right ahead"

" Uh... you got another one?"he asked holding a life vest

"yes"

"its in the hold, show him" after him checking things and looking in the water for some time they finlly left and we go to the  side of the boat looking for john B

"do you see him"

"he is out of air"

"I am going to jump in"

"wait I see him" and just like that he comes up I let out a shaky breath

"you scared the crap out of us"

"How did it go find anything"

"did i find anything" and he throws up something don't the boat we cheer

"that's my boy"

"yes" and we all help him up "hey are you ok"

"I ran out of air"

"you scared the shit out of me don't do that" I tell him while they tell him about the cops when I see a boat coming to us "Um guys do you reconises that boat"

"I've never seen it. What are they doing here? The marsh is closed." Kie says

"Let's not stick around and find out."

"JJ get the bowline"

"come on lets go don't wait on him go"

"don't wait on me go go"

"guys there folwing us"

"go faster"

"this cant be good"

"gun it now" then we hear a gun shot towards us

"get down"

"why do they have a gun"

"where going to die"

"Get down Kie"

"what the hell are you doing" and she throws the fishing net to them and there moater got stuck on it

we got to John Bs house and he is checking the bag

"what do you think is in it"

"its got to be money right"

"That or a couple of keys with street value to the low-to mid-mils!"

"Can we please just open the bag?"

"pope chill you don't have to get all fisty"

"Okay. You guys are literally killing me with anticipation. Open the bag. we almost died because of it"

"i mean he has a point"

we find out that what was in the bag was a compass but it was john Bs dad and we didn't know then but that compass will make our summer crazier then normal
