Chapter 1- Back to School

A/N: Before you start all the drawings at the top of the pages I make. Sorry she isn't that good...

-Glory's POV- 

Glory heard the ring of the alarm clock and tried to turn it off by reaching towards it. Instead, she felt nothing but air. "Kinkajou!" Glory groaned as she stood up. She knew her sister had moved her alarm clock  just to mess with her. Once Glory got to the clock the  alarm was louder than ever. "That little-" she growled, turning off the alarm clock. As if it was on cue, Kinkajou sprinted into Glory's room and tackled her to the bed.

"Gotcha!" She grinned, getting off. Glory took notice that Kinkajou was already dressed for school. She must have woken up really early considering it takes her what feels like a decade for Kinkajou to get changed. "Are you exited for the first day of school?" Kinkajou hyperventilated. "I can't wait to see Turtle again" Glory rolled her eyes as she pulled a black dress out of her closet.

"Can you possibly stop talking about him for a day? All summer you were talking about him. And it makes it even more weird because he is my best friend's little brother" Glory complained, shoving Kinkajou out of the room.

"Glory, are you going to sit down and eat breakfast with us?" Grandeur asked Glory politely as Jambu sat down. 

"Sorry Grandma but I'm too worried that I don't have all my stuff so I need to do a big check." Glory sighed. The truth was, she didn't really want to eat with the family anyways. Ever since their parents died in a car crash she had become distant from everyone else.

"Jambu! What did I say about phones at the table!?" Glory heard Grandeur hiss. Glory snickered as she re-checked everything just for good measures. 

"Grandma!" Jambu wined. "I was just talking to Pineapple" 

"Oh, your boyfriend?" Glory yelled across the house. She quickly grabbed her backpack and tossed it on over her shoulder. She then grabbed a peace of French toast and sat down at the table next to Kinkajou.

"You didn't have to say that" Jambu blushed. 

"But what's the fun in that?" Glory teased. My phone then vibrated to let me know it was time for us to head to our bus stop. Jambu was lucky because the College he went to didn't start for another  week. "That's us, Kink" Glory said. Kinkajou grabbed their bright pink backpack. It was stuffed to the brim with drawings instead of stuff she really needed. I didn't mind. As long as she wasn't failing any classes, who cares? Kinkajou tied her hair into a braid and let the rainbow dyed strand of hair fall to her shoulder. Glory and Kinkajou had went and got matching rainbow strands along with Jambu over the summer. They slowly walked to the end of their road but then they heard bus brakes. They sprinted and got there in time. The bus driver just gave them weird looks. Glory sighed. This was going to be a long day.
