I'm Barely A Person (Grumbo)

The First Meeting (Prolog)

The way its written is intended.

"When did, you first meet?"

"Oh you see it's a really funny story actually, isn't it?"

"It sure is, takes me back..."

They both sit there and start to think, smiling at each other, leaning in for a kiss, the screen went black before the pairs name Ren and Doc appeared, as it cuts to a different pair.

"How did you two meet?"

"Honestly.. I have no idea... Do you?"

The other person laughed and held the first one, nuzzling into them before nodding, it was not said, it had been cut to a different pair. Wels and Jevin.

The screen was black, before it was announced, in a slight embarrassed voice over, the last person sitting in the middle of the camera very embarrassed. Started to speak softly like they were ready for this, but still unprepared.

"Not, a pair, I'm actually by myself.."

The person who looked into the camera said with a tired smile. Their mouth was slightly parted to show that they were trying to give a big smile, but their eyes showed that they had been in a lot of pain and tireless nights.

"I haven't, necessarily had a first meeting, with a person to love, or really see, and the only real person who I might have a Knack for is, probably watching this..."

The person fiddled their Mustache and blushed slightly, smiling into the camera, it seemed as if the eyes had illumated with joy and innocence, their smile turning more, soft, and loving. About to talk into the camera again but stopping, then nodding. Deciding that it was time.

"This is an interesting confession isn't it? Heh.. I think it's time that he knows though.. I think, after all these years. He's ready to learn the truth. I love you..."

They blinked away the tears in fear of rejection, but went ahead and tried.

"I love you... My Friend-"

Cut.

Off.

The screen went black once again, and showed the name of who was there, the name slowly faded in, not any other name just.

Mumbo.

"Mumbo-... Mumbo-...? MUMBO-"

Grian yelled at the screen as the screen was sent to black, with a small phrase in the middle saying. Thank you for watching. Grian's heart dropped as he saw it, he knew Mumbo wouldn't do anything but this video was worrying- oh god- what did Mumbo do-?!

Mumbo on the other hand was very pleased with himself, he just confessed to, no one--- feeling good about his random video he just posted with no consequences. No one really cares right? Yeah! So might as well go on with his day and continue to build and craft and mine and everything, like nothing happened, or so he thought.

Grian looked around for Mumbo sending frantic messages over and over, asking him if he was okay, his wings getting riled up, he was frantically flapping around, He was acting silly. Mumbo is fine nothing bad would happen, so why is he worried?... Well he cares about Mumbo and let's be honest, seeing a video with very weird undertones can make someone worry a lot, he hoped Mumbo was okay, he looked out his window to see if anything was there, then a single note dropped from the sky, then a bunch of fireworks going off with it.

"Grian, I'm fine"

It was written in Mumbo's handwriting, he's fine! That's- That's good! He can breathe again! Okay then. He then started his episode with a breath, and a happy tune humming out of him. If it's time to start an episode to help get things off his mind then so be it. Better that then deciphering what Mumbo meant by "I love you... My friend" that could be anyone, yeah anyone, no one can be ruled out, so let's just continue on with this day like nothing happened!

Mumbo happily went around with his day and happily bought things, hung out with people, and built structures! And wanted to see Grian, but he wasn't anywhere near anyplace, so he went on and placed a small little bird feather at his door with a note and a big smile, that should keep him company!

Grian read the note again and sighed, this is going to be a fun day, oh well. And a bird feather! Okay then.

(Oh god this is going to be a long day.)

Grian thought. It was going to be, a very long day of boredom and building, no fun, unless something interesting happened, nothing at all will be fun about this day, and he has to decipher that weird confession Mumbo gave to- basically Millions of people. Wow today is going to be fun.

Mumbo was happily having lots of fun and being silly, he did wonder what Grian was doing though, maybe he'll pop in for a prank later, which is the best course of action with Grian! Oh he is chuffed to bits, this is going to be fun.
