A/n: I'm back again, sorry for the long hiatus I was on a short trip. But here's today's chapter I hope you like it. I don't have much to say in the author's note :)

You were picking out a book from a bookshelf but the one you wanted was too high. You tried to jump to reach it but that didn't work.

"I'll get it for you," a soft voice behind you said before you saw a gloved hand grab the book for you.

You smiled at the kind gesture before climbing into bed, you saw someone sitting on the side of the bed. Their face was blurry but you could tell they looked at you with love and adoration. You didn't know who they were but they felt familiar, like a safe space you could always find comfort in.

"C'mon, this can be your bedtime story, which means it's bedtime, so you have to sleep after this," the person lightly hits your head with the book and you swatted it away while giggling. "Okay, okay, just start reading already," you cross your arms waiting for him to start reading. He chuckles at your antics before starting, "Once upon a time," the story started but before you knew it you fell asleep.

"Wake up sleepyhead!"

You jolted upright as Auriana shook you awake. "Taila asked me to wake you up for training," Auriana smiled. "We had training today?" you groaned before getting up. "Nope, Taila said we have to be ready for the unexpected so she called a last-minute training session!" Auriana is somehow giddy and hyper. "How are you so hyper in the morning? When did you go to sleep?" you ask while rubbing your eyes. "I didn't g to sleep last night! I was up reading, your earth literature is very interesting, especially the self-published ones!" Auriana says before leaving so you get changed.

You walked downstairs to see all the girls waiting for you.

"Finally you're here," Taila looks at you expectantly. "Sorry I was just tired, I had a weird dream too," you say. "Not an excuse, but since you're new to this I'll let it go," Taila says before opening up the training grounds.

"Iris you're up first, so if you could transform," Taila asks and Iris transforms. "You two can have a quick breakfast while I explain the crystal whisper spell to Iris," Taila tells you and Auriana and you both take the opportunity gladly. You both leave the training grounds and have some leftover takeout you ordered yesterday. "We should head back now," you say with Auriana nodding in agreement and you two enter the training grounds again.

"Are we late? I'm so excited I love this spell!" Auriana asks happily.

You can see Iris in the middle of the training grounds with a monster presumably made by Taila. Suddenly the monster tries to hit Iris but she dodges in time. The monster keeps trying to attack her but she keeps dodging, "Amaru I need your wings!" she yells. Amaru jumps into action and transforms and Iris hops onto his back.

"I like the way she thinks," Auriana comments. "Yeah, that was a smart move," you add on and Taila looks at Iris impressed and proud.

Iris jumps onto the monster's back but she immediately gets thrown off. You create a crystal that catches Iris and lets her down. You and Auriana run up to her, "Iris are you okay?" Auriana asks. You three look up to see the monster ready to attack again but it dissolves into small blue crystals that fade away before it can hurt you.

You three stand up and Amaru jumps into your arms. "It's a lot harder to stay on his back and recite," Iris says. "True, let's break it down to make it more manageable," Taila suggests. "Did you say break, as in smoothie break?" Auriana slyly asks. "I think she did Auriana," you add. "I sure could use a smoothie break," Iris smiles at Taila.
