December's POV
My tree is about three blocks away from my house and I go there to escape.
It had a swing that was there when I found it. I would swing as high as I can and then jump off. Sometimes I like to think I can fly. But not today. I grabbed my iPOD and turned it up to full blast and listened to Skillet, my favorite band. I
was rocking to one of my favorite songs "Comatose" until someone tapped me.
I looked up and I saw Luke smiling at me. I took the earbuds out of my ears and smiled back. "Hi." I said like a dipshit. "What's up December?" "Not much, just listening to my favorite band." "Whats the band's name?" "Skillet," "I love
that band!"He said with awe. I was speechless."Really?" "Hell yeah! I listen to them all of the time!" I still had that smile on my face when I asked, "What are you doing here?" This was my spot and no one will take it away from me. "Just went for a walk, took a turn, here I am." God I almost died with the sound of his voice and the way that he was standing. "I then found you." I gave him a smirk. "You found me."
We started talking and I kept my cool.I gave him a bunch of pointers on how life works around here and he told me about life in his old town. "It's a complete shit hole" He told me. "We couldn't have left any later. "So You left one shit hole for another one?" I asked him. "Actually its not that bad." He stated. "That is because you just moved here." I told him. I'm leaving as soon as I can." Then he said, "You can't go I would miss you."
Before I could say anything stupid I got a text from Mom,
Baby come home, sorry about what I said I love you
I looked back up at Luke, "Sorry but I got to go, Mom wants me back. I'll see you tomorrow." "Later." He waved bye and I did the same. then, I went home and hugged my Mom.
