Raven
With her closing the journal and putting it under the couch, Kyle walks downstairs, and into the living room. As he plops on the couch, he turns on the television, and asks Luna, "When are you leaving?"
"I'm leaving now," she says, as she gets up, and walks into the kitchen. As she puts on her shoes and grabs the keys off the kitchen counter, she yells, "Love you! I'll see you later."
"Okay! Be safe. I'll see you later. Let me know what they say," he yells, as she walks out the door.
As she drives into town, The Welcome to Salem, Mass, signs come into her view she becomes excited. As she pulls into the Raven parking lot moments later, she sits in the car, looks at the shop, and wonders what they are going to tell her. With her looking all around one more time, she gets out of the car, walks into the store, and sees Victoria sitting at the table with her tarot cards.
As she walks up to her, she flips a tarot card over, reads it, and says, "Hey Luna. How are you? What brings you into town?"
"I just stopped by to visit. Is Laura around?" she says, as she walks around the store, and looks at the items.
"No. The elder will be back later. She's out running errands," Victoria says, as she looks at Luna. As she turns another card over and reads it, she asks, "Why? Is there something that I can help you with?"
"Well, since you asked. I had the strangest dream last night. I saw a witch burn, and a strange man approached me in my dream. It was weird. It even felt real. And when I woke up a man was standing at the edge of my bed. Not literally of course! It was an image of a medium-sized man. I watched him dissipate Victoria. I think my dream was telling me something," she says, as she walks up to her, and sits down on the other side of the table.
"Let me see if I see anything," she says as she flips three more cards. As she reads the cards, she looks up at her, and says, "You're right! Your dream was telling you something. And you did see a psychic image of a man standing at the edge of the bed."
"Told yeah! Something was different! I feel different. What else do the cards say?" Luna says as she leans in towards Victoria.
"Well! If you must know," she says as she puts her left palm over the cards. Moving her hand from left to right, she reads the energy, and says, "Luna, you'll be running into an acquaintance soon. He's a charmer. A dark charmer. He's one of us, and lives in town."
"Is there anything else?"
"No. That's all I have. The energy from the reading has faded," Victoria says as she puts the cards back in the deck.
"Okay. Thanks. I appreciate the reading," she says as she stands up, while a weird sensation crawls up her back. As she shakes it off, she grabs her keys out of her left pocket, and says, "I'll see you later."
"Wait! I have something for you," she says, as she gets up, and walks to the other end of the store. As she grabs a couple of witch books and a large crystal ball from the bookshelf, she walks back over to the table, sets them down, and says, "Here! These are for you."
"What's this? You're giving me these," Luna says in a surprised voice as she looks at the books and the crystal ball.
"Yes! These items are for you. You should read these. Something told me to give you these," Victoria says, as she stands on the opposite side of the table and looks at Luna.
"Well! Thanks. I appreciate it," Luna says as she grabs the books and crystal ball. As she places the crystal ball under her left arm and holds the books in her other hand, she walks out of the store, and yells back to Victoria, "Bye. I'll see you later. Thanks again."
"No problem. I'll see you later."
Luna stands in front of the store, she takes a quick look around the town, as the cold sun hits her face, while she sees Geo walking and carrying a brown bag of groceries. As she walks to the car and unlocks it, she opens the door and puts the books and the crystal ball on the front passenger seat floor, while he passes her, and says, "Hey Luna! What are you doing at the Raven?"
"Hey Geo! I'm just visiting the Salem witches," she says, as the weird sensation crawls up her back, while she looks at his dark brown hair and blue eyes. Sensing that he's the dark charmer, and the man standing at the edge of her bed last night, she smiles, and asks, "How are you? What are you up to?"
"I'm good. I'm just out running errands," he says as he looks at the books in her car. As he adjusts the bag of groceries in his arm, he nods his head towards the books, and asks, "What do you have there?"
"Oh, that! Victoria just gave me some books to read and a large crystal ball. Look how big it is! It's friggen huge!" she says as she looks at him.
"Well! That was nice of her. Did the high priestess have anything else to say?" he asks sarcastically.
"No! Not really! She didn't say too much," she says, as she closes the passenger side door, and walks over to the driver side. As she stands there about to open the driver's side door, the image of him standing at the edge of her bed comes back to her, while certain parts of the flashes in her mind, and she says, "It was nice seeing you. I'm sure I'll see you around again."
"Okay, Luna! I'll talk to you later," he says with a smile. As walks away, he yells back to her without turning around, "I'm sure we'll run into each other again! Have fun with that large crystal ball!"
