The studio was filled with abundant artificial lights, hoards of people, and shuttering cameras. Models continued to alternate between scenes at the request of the photographers. Click. Click. The constant sounds of captures blasted at each second. Every movement, breath, blink, and expression would be taken into photo form.
"Take five!" The main director shouted. His voice echoed throughout the entire studio. All the models immediately walked offset behind the cameras. The behind-the-scenes staff worked on reorganizing the set arrangement.
"Naeun," a voice with a high-pitched tone spoke within the bustling area.
The name's owner, Naeun, turned around and made eye contact with her manager. "Hey!" Her smile was wide and contagious, "Is this the last section?" She had been on set for five hours.
Miss Lee nodded, "We'll treat you to dinner after the session. Rush out. Once they call the shoot over, I'll be the first van in line!" She patted Naeun on the back as she blended into the crowd. Naeun took a deep breath, looking down at her aching feet in heels. Her mind was all over the place.
Ji Naeun. She grew up in the limelight due to her father being a critically acclaimed director in the industry. Her childhood consisted of visiting movie premieres before she could even speak. Now, being nineteen years old, she enjoys being in the spotlight. She's made millions of connections, works the bare minimum, and can have an outside life. Although the modeling agency has many negative aspects, her young naivety allowed her to not ponder on those moments as much.
But every time she would blink. She would hear it.
Click. Click.
Cameras taking pictures. The immediate sound that filled her ears ached her head. The main thing about her job was the only thing she hated.
"Back on set!"
Naeun took a deep breath as she shook off her nerves once again. All the models approached the set, following the directions from behind the camera.
