Luffys POV 3rd person

Luffy sat on Sunnys head excitedly as they approached the next island, Jigoku Island. Jigoku island, most commonly known for its famous aquariums. The aquariums are mostly known due to the wide variety of exotic fish from all over the world.

That morning, Nami had let the crew know that they would be arriving at about two. This was her way of saying ' go get your shit together and ready to go or feel my wrath'. She was not having a repeat of last time. When approaching the last island, Nami had  told everyone to get ready, but Zoro had fallen asleep and kept the crew at the  docks for an extra hour, none could wake him up. They were starting to think he had died.

When they had finally gotten  Zoro awake and had successfully made it off the ship and onto the island, they realized Usopp had forgotten to grab the lunches like Sanji had told him to. They had to walk 3 hours back to the ship, losing Zoro twice, and listening to Luffy complain about how he was 'So hungry he would die'.

Feeling Namis glare, Zoro went to the crows nest to sharpen his swords, while Brook started to tune his violin. Chopper went to his office to start mixing and mashing healing herbs together, already anticipating an incident. Franky filled up his Cola, and Sanji started to pack to-go lunches for the crew. Usopp started to check his small bag, checking to make sure he had everything this time. Robin went back onto the deck to continue reading her book, already ready to go. And finally, Nami counted and split everyone's spending money while Luffy snuck into the kitchen to steal anything he could get his hands on, quickly getting a kick to the face.

Nami, how long until we get there?" He wined at Nami again, rubbing the bump on his head. "I just told you, a little over an hour, now stop asking!" she yelled, a tick mark appearing on her forehead. "Shishishi, thanks Nami!" he smiled at her, laughing at her angered expression. Rubbing the second bump that was now atop his head, Luffy walked across the deck towards the kitchen.

As if on cue, his black hole of a stomach made itself known, signaling that it was time for lunch.

"Sanji~ I want meat!" he yells, wandering into the kitchen.

Luffys POV 1st person

I watched as we finally reached the docks smiling widely. I start running to the railing of the ship to jump off and explore but just before I could jump off, Nami got a death grip on my collar, pulling me back.

" Would you wait a second." She scolds before passing out everyone's spending money. " Sanji, Chopper, can you two restock the food? I wanna go shopping with Robin. " She smiled at the two. "Of course Nami-San ~! " Sanji replied, eyes turning into giant hearts. Meanwhile Chopper just gave a thumbs up and a smile. She turned to me and Zoro, " You two go explore, try  to get some info on the island. Just, stay out of trouble. " she spoke, shaking her head.

Turning to Brook and Franky she smiled, " I need one of you two to come with Robin and I, we're gonna need someone to hold our bags." "I'm afraid I'll be staying, there's a song I would like to practice." stated Brook. Usopp joined the conversation, " I'll be staying too, I'm so close to finishing this!". He held up some sort of slingshot, eyes sparkling. " That leaves me! Super!" Franky yells, striking a pose. And with that, everyone  dispersed.

Y/N POV 1st person

I could feel their eyes on me, dozens of them, just staring at me through the thick glass. Some stared in awe, some in disgust, and some looked at me as if I was a bag full of money. Three years this has been my life, swimming next to the glass so that the people can get a good view of my tail. The constant feeling of being watched for pleasure, as if I was a wild animal at a zoo. I might as well be at this point.

Avoiding eye contact with all of those outside my tank, I quickly swam down to the small cave at the bottom of my tank. It was only about 4 feet tall, and 3 wide, but it was all I had. Swimming into a corner of the tiny cave, I tucked my f/c tail towards my chest, wrapping my arms around it.

I buried my head into my arms, desperately trying to think of anything but the small aquarium or the collar around my neck. I thought back to the sea, the fun of swimming with the schools of fish, or remembering the beauty of the coral reefs, or the joy of riding the Sea Kings. My head quickly jolted up and out of my arms when I felt a zap to my neck. It was a small shock, a warning to get out of my cave and to back to my job of entertaining the useless humans who were looking into the aquarium, trying to get even a glimpse of me.

The medal collar around my neck was designed to keep sirens from singing. Unfortunately for me, it also stopped me from talking. My buyer, Gomi, had this collar handmade so he could add a few adjustments to it. He had a shocking mechanism built into the collar. If the collar doesn't feel movement for 10 minutes, it will send a small warning zap. This zap is his way of telling me to get back to the people, back to the watching eyes. After 30 seconds of the warning shock, if no movement is sensed, it produces a larger, more painful zap. The collar is controlled by a small remote that Gomi keeps on him. He'll turn my collar off at night so that I can get at most 4 hours of sleep. As he puts it, it's enough sleep to entertain people, but it doesn't give me enough energy to try anything.

Not wanting a stronger shock to the neck, I quickly swam out of my cave and close to the glass. I watched as the people's eyes widened upon my appearance. Swimming to a different side of the tank, I prayed for the day I'd see the sea again, feeling my last bits of hope fading away by the day.
