The multifandom purge

Chapter 1

Lydia's pov
I sat on the couch with stiles, Scott, Allison and Derek. We found one of out favourite movies on tv, anchorman, so we decided to watch it. We were laughing when the movie cut off and a breaking news report started. "We are counting down until the purge starts in 10 minutes." The purge? This cannot be true. "You guys should prepare yourselves, there is a long 12 hours coming up, get comfy," my mom said walking in. "Is this real, miss Marin," stiles said obviously scared too. "I'm afraid so stiles, these next few hours can be very dangerous, so we need to be prepared. In 5 minutes time, our house will be shielded by silver metal, nothing should be able to get through it." My mom explained. "But what if somebody does get through?" I head Allison ask. "Well, there is a big room full of weapons in our basement, there are guns, knifes, even bows and arrows." I know Allison was good with a bow because she has been taking archery lessons. I turned to look at the tv screen again, "we are now entering the 12 hour purge, good luck to everybody, try to survive," then our film started playing again. We sat down and finished the film, I hope I don't die tonight.

Elena's pov
The purge was tonight. This was mine, Damon's and Stefan's favourite time of the year. The day we can commit any crime, even murder, and get away with it. We took advantage of this night. We're preparing to take off into the streets, to kill anybody we can find. Killing people is what we did most in these 12 hours, but sometime we would do other things like steal things. I turned to watch the countdown on the tv, waiting, 5. 4. 3. 2. 1 "we are now entering the 12 hour purge, good luck to everybody, try to survive. Then me, Stefan and Damon walked out of the house, loaded with guns and knifes. Let the fun begin!

Katniss pov
Me, my boyfriend, and my two friends were preparing for tonight. Every year there is the purge, so me, peeta, tris and Tobias gather together to try and survive the next few hours. Our house will be guarded by a grey metal wall. This allows nobody to get through, or anybody to get out. However, be have a room upstairs that are loaded with guns and other weapons. We should be safe this year. But last year, my mom and sister get killed. It was horrible because I'm the only one left. This year, nobody else is going to die. I'm going to protect everybody. "We are now entering the 12 hour purge, good luck to everybody, try to survive."

Aria's pov
We were walking down the street, just a casual day. For some reason, everybody looks really worried. None of us know why, but I'm determined to find out. I saw a teenaged girl running across the street, "hey, wait a sec." She stopped and turned to look at us. "Why are you guys out? Are you brave or stupid." "Look, why is everybody so worried." "Because the purge is starting in 7 minutes." Then she ran off. The purge? How did we not know about this? We ran to Spencer's house and tried staying hidden. We just have to stay alive for 12 hours, just until it's over. After about 30 minutes of sitting there, I heard the front door open.
