Uglydolls and the Portal Shards

~Chapter Four~

(Moxy's POV)

I walked along the empty streets of Uglyville, kicking a pebble as I went. Everyone was either hiding in their homes or had been taken away. All of my friends were gone already... I prayed that they were going to be okay. I accidently kicked my pebble into the river nearby. I sighed and sat down on my riverside. I watched the pebble sink into the blue watery abyss as my feet grazed the surface of the water. Suddenly, I spotted a glowing light floating in the water. I picked it up and gasped.

It was a piece of the portal! I stood up, holding the wet piece of glass in my hand. A spark of hope flashed in my heart as I began to dash to Imperfection. But before I could get to the pipe, I was circled by robots. 

"Hand over the portal piece, tiny pink doll." One of them said in a robotic voice. 

"No way!" I held the shard close to my chest. The robots circled closer. I began to panic. This was my only chance to help, I couldn't let it end! Not now, not this fast-

CRASH!

BANG! 

CLANG!

The robots all collapsed and I peeked through one of my eyes. I was surprised to see the spy girls! Each one was wearing different clothing. Kitty had on a pink shirt with a darker pink sweater, grey pants and dirty white sneakers. Tuesday was wearing a long sleeved teal shirt and dark blue leggings, with cute black boots. Lydia had a purple long sleeved shirt with a more pink-ish purple pleated skirt and white pants with short white gloves, she had small purple sneakers on her feet.

"Girls?" The looked over the three of them. 

"Are you alright?" Tuesday questioned, stepping close. I nodded, she smiled.

"What's that?" Lydia asked, pointing to the shard in my hands.

"It's a piece of the portal, I was hoping to put it back in to fix the portal!" I explained, smiling brightly. The girls smiled back at me. 

"Kitty?" A voice called from the distance. We all looked over and saw Mandy, Lou, Nolan, and Michael walking towards us! 

"Mandy!" Kitty gasped, tearing up. They ran at each other, hugging tightly. Mandy kissed her gently on the lips, both of them blushing. 

"I missed you so much!" She smiled, hugging her girlfriend (YEA THATS RIGHT, THEY'RE DATING AND YOU CAN'T STOP ME HAHAHAHAHHA-) The rest of the group approached and I couldn't help but smile. When Mandy let go, Kitty's eyes fell on Lou. 

"What is he doing here?" She asked, looking him up and down. I was also confused, he looked a bit different, more... dirty... and tired...

"Nice to see you too, Kitty." Lou crossed his arms, glaring at her. 

"Lets not fight right now, thank you." Mandy stepped in, glaring at them both. Nolan spotted the shard in my hand.

"Guys, look!" He smiled, walking over to me. "Moxy found another shard!" He said, pointing to the shard in my hands. The group gasped, looking over and seeing it. 

"Another?" I questioned. Mandy pulled another shard out of her purse. I gasped. 

"There's five pieces missing, now we only need three more!" Mandy smiled. I handed her the shard and she put them both in her purse. 

"Wait!" Tuesday stepped forward, reaching into her black bag. She pulled out a green polaroid camera with blue spots. 

"Can we take a picture? Pleaseeeee!!!" She begged. We were hesitant, but agreed. The photo printed out and Tuesday smiled as she slid it into a pocket of her bag.
