However, things did not turn out well for them, as they both had been excommunicated for learning about an unspeakable fact. Having send the Excalibur fragments back, both of them came to a big decision. With nowhere to go and their previous world view shattered, they both turned to being devils; Xenovia joined Rias as her second and final Knight, while Irina took to Sona's Peerage as her Rook.
