Long ago, in a village lived two friends, Raman and Tarun. Raman was from a wealthy family whereas, Tarun was from a poor family. Despite the difference in their status, they were always by each other's side and remained as best friends.
As time passed by, both grew apart and got busy with their lives. As such, they did not get much time to meet each other. One day, Tarun fell ill and Raman went to visit him when he heard about it. He did not stay with Tarun for long. However, he gave some money to Tarun and left. Over time, Tarun worked and earned enough to return Raman's money although, he as not able to forget how rude Raman's behaviour was towards him.
Just after a few months, Tarun got news that Raman had fallen ill. Tarun immediately left all his work and went to stay with Raman. He took care of Ramn throughout his illness till he got well.
Raman felt guilty and said to Tarun, "My friend, when you fell ill, I gave you money which you have returned to me. When I fell ill, you stayed by my side and took care of me. How am I ever going to be able to return this favour of yours?" Tarun hugged him and replied, "I was just wanted you to realize that money is not everything and today, I am very happy that you understand that. Friendship is all about showing our affection through sharing and caring."
