CHAP.14

DINNER TIME 8 pm

Leonardo was waiting for everyone to come and have dinner. One by one all the sisters came. Leonardo called Eve.

"Where are your Mistresses? I told you to call them didn't I?" said Leonardo.

"Master Castillo I went to their room to call them but they were in deep sleep and they looked tired too. So I thought maybe I should let them sleep." said Eve.

"Right. Just let them have rest and tomorrow tell them to have breakfast with me." said Leonardo.

"Affirmative Master." said Eve and she went away. The Castillo sisters were listening to all this.

"Papa you don't have to make them feel like they are important or somewhat special. If they don't want to marry us then let them be, it's their loss not ours." said Tzuyu.

"You are challenging my decision Tzuyu. Do you think you are more WISER THAN ME? OR DO YOU THINK THAT IN JUST 25 YEARS YOU'VE SEEN THE WORLD MORE THAN I HAVE SEEN IN MY 55 YEARS OF LIFE?" Leonardo was angry now.

"I am sorry Papa I didn't mean that." said Tzuyu.

"Then do as what I say." said Leonardo.

" I have given the sisters some time to decide. Do whatever you can to gain their trust. We don't have enough time. And I will also do what I have to do." said Leonardo and they started to eat dinner.

After the dinner, the 3 sisters went to their respective rooms while Leonardo went to Anne. He knocked on the door. Anne was shocked to see him.

"Master you don't have to knock." said Anne.

"I have to. Don't call me master just call me Leonardo." said Leonardo.

"But I am also just a maid I have to respect you." said Anne. Leonardo laughed a bit after hearing this.

"Anne look I am sorry for what had happened today and as you know that I have told you everything. We did not do it without a reason. I need your help. They will only listen to you I know. They are not listening to me. Just tell them their father's reality and maybe they will believe you. I am also a father Anne and my daughters' lost their mother at a young age and one didn't even had opened her eyes when my love died. It was Jay's fault you have to help me. Never in my life I begged anyone but now I am. Please." Leonardo had tears in his eyes. He wanted nothing but only the right thing for his daughters and also for the 3 Martinez sisters who had lost their father and were suffering. Leonardo had his hands joined in front of Anne.

"No what are you doing Leonardo please don't do this. I will help you and I will talk to them and they will say yes. I know it's been hard for your daughters. I have met them and they threatened me but when I saw Tzuyu's eyes, I saw a lonely and empty person in her eyes who wanted nothing but love. In fact, all of them are like this. I will talk to Irene tomorrow." assured Anne.

Leonardo thanked her and wiped his tears. He went outside the room and then made his way to his library. He went into the library and sat on his usual seat and grabbed the same diary that he was reading. He started reading the diary and tears started to form in his eyes.

'I am going to make everything right my love. I will fulfill your promise.' thought Leonardo while looking at the diary.

NEXT DAY

Irene woke up first. She went to the bathroom and freshened up. She saw clothes in the closet and changed her clothes from yesterday. She woke her sisters up and they also did the same thing. Irene rang the bell and Eve came inside.

"Mistresses, Master Castillo said that you should have breakfast with them at 10 sharp." said Eve.

"Ok we will be there at 10." said Jennie.

"And also Ms Anne wanted to talk to you before you go for breakfast. She is downstairs in her room waiting for you." said Eve.

"Uh Eve can you please show us the way. Actually the mansion is too big and we don't know the exact places yet." said Sana.

"Sure Ms Sana. Please follow me and I will take you to Ms Anne's room." said Eve. Eve then started to walk while the Martinez sisters were following her. After a while, they reached a room.

"This is Ms Anne's room." said Eve.

"Thank you Eve." said Irene.

The 3 sisters went inside the room and saw Anne there waiting for them. Anne showed them a motherly smile and said,

"Girls I was waiting for you. Come sit I have something to tell you." said Anne.

"What is it Anne?" said Jennie.

"Knowing what you are going through I think it is best time to tell you this. It's about your father. I hope that you trust me because I would never want anything bad for you guys." said Anne.

"We absolutely trust you Anne, more than our own selves." said Irene.

"Look what the Castillos did had a big reason. The Castillos and your father had a tragic past. Your father was in love with the wife of  Leonardo. But his love eventually turned into obsession. When Leonardo got married with Bella who is the mother of Suelgi, Tzuyu and Rosé. He tried everything to drift them apart. He even tried to kill them. But when Tzuyu was born, your father did another attack on Bella and this time she gave her life. The Castillos had gone through a lot too. Why do you think that  a person can be this inhuman and ruthless without any reason. They have a reason and that is their dreadful past. They never had anyone who could understand them and this turned them into heart-less monsters. If you trust me or if you have loved me even a little bit then consider your marriage with them. They are better than anyone for you." said Anne. 

The girls were not able to comprehend anything. They were shocked to death after hearing all this. Anne didnt tell them about their father's whole past because they weren't able to digest this much information. Anne wanted the best for them so she did what she felt like doing. She also felt like that maybe the Castillo sisters and they are meant to be. Even if today they hate each other, gradually it'll turn into love which will change the cruel monsters to better people.
