"Rise and shiiiiine, everybody! It's a brand-new day! Let's start it off with a hearty breakfast... before we get to the next game!"

"..."

Yuuna rubbed his eyes and sat up in his bed.

"Hm... it's early..."

"You heard him, everyone... let's get to it!"

Hiroto was already raring to go, stretching out and shoving his hands in his pockets as he waited for everyone to pull themselves out of bed.

"...Meh..."

Tomoko sat on the floor beside Hiroto. She'd managed to pull herself out of bed, but was looking too tired to even so much as dare to stand up again.

"I'd rather somebody bring in my breakfast to me... I haven't had breakfast in bed in so long."

"...That won't be happening."

Rin got up out of her bed and looked down at Tomoko.

"We'll all be going to breakfast together, nobody left behind... speaking of which..."

She looked over at Yuuna, still sitting up in his bed, hugging his blankets.

"Are you ready, Yuuna?"

"...Oh- yeah. My bad..."

Yuuna threw off the blankets and took a step out of bed.

"..."

"Huh? Is something wrong, Yuuna?"

"..."

The images from last night vividly replayed in Yuuna's head as he hesitated, freezing in place.

...

His vomit...

The blood on the floor...

His stinging wound...

...

Korekiyo's words.

...

"...No... I'm fine."

Yuuna looked over at the others.

"Let's get going, then... since we're all u-"

"WAAAAAIT!"

Korekiyo's voice echoed throughout the room as he rolled out of the top bunk, falling with a sickening crack onto the floor.

"..."

"K-KOREKIYO! What are you doing?!"

Hiroto rushed over to Korekiyo and grabbed him by the wrists, pulling him back up to his feet.

"A-Ahaha... must have been a bad dream."

Korekiyo rubbed his neck awkwardly.

"I... I could have sworn there was a bear... right there..."

"..."

"Yeah, yeah. Should we get you back to bed, grandpa?"

"E-Err, I'd rather eat breakfast... I haven't had a good one in a while. I'm quite accustomed to, uhm... cereal... and the like...."
