Note from the Author

Hello!
I'm the author of Otoriphobia, my name is Komeni.
I want to thank every single person who read this story, even to those who simply glanced over it, as it means the entire world to me.
Thank you for paying homage to this story- it may have taken me over a month, but this passion project of mine called Otoriphobia has finally met a fitting conclusion.
After writing Otoriphobia, I feel as though I finally understand what it means to be an author.
It may not be a masterpiece, but as I was writing Otoriphobia, I finally understood how authors feel about their works.
Otoriphobia was the first work I have created in which I have become attached to the setting and those who live in this world.

Each individual character meant a lot to me- even if it wasn't referenced directly in the story, I put a lot of effort into creating each character. The ones who died early did not get as much attention and "lore" than the others did, but I filled notebook pages with each and every character's lore, their aspirations and stories about them.
Some of the characters carry far more than their outside appearance may suggest, and I poured my thoughts and personal experiences into these characters.

Even in spite of much suffering, drama, and violence...

The story of Otoriphobia is not quite over.

I will be spending more sleepless nights listening to music as I type away at the newest entry of mine...

I hope you'll be looking forward to experiencing the second chapter in Yuuna Otori and Rin Kagemori's path as I release "Otoriphobia 2: Blue Evening".

With the introduction of new characters and new concepts, as well as tying knots on every loose end and mystery left untouched by the first story, this sequel is intended to settle the perfect ending to Otoriphobia.

After Blue Evening is finished, I don't know where I plan to take this series. Maybe I'll leave it alone or maybe I'll produce more work related to it.

Anyway, thank you.

I hope this story was just as enjoyable for you to read as it was for me to write.

Please look forward to Blue Evening!

And, for now-

Goodbye.
