The battle on Titan had been intense, and Tony Stark had been fighting tooth and nail to stop Thanos from getting his hands on the Time Stone. But in the end, it had all been for nothing.
Thanos had succeeded in his mission, and the snap had occurred. In the aftermath, Tony felt a strange sensation wash over him, a sensation he had never felt before. He felt himself dissolving, turning to dust before his very eyes.
As he felt himself slipping away, he thought of Pepper and how much he loved her. He thought of Peter, his protégé, and how much potential he had. He thought of all the Avengers, and how they had fought together to save the universe.
And then he was gone.
