Shirou has known death and betrayals for how long now? As much as he walked through a hero's path, the more he suffers. It was something he had accepted when accepting Archer. He knew that the road could only lead to his demise and eternal suffering, but he still pushed through.
The simple reason of chasing after a beautiful ideal is beautiful in it's purest form, yet the purest will always be defiled by malice. Shirou could only remember a few fragments of his life with her, with Rin Tohsaka. To Shirou she was a very good friend, someone he can rely on, unfortunately he needed to leave her to chase his ideals.
Maybe leaving her was for the best. Or so that was what he thought. In the end, as both magus and as former partners. They met, not in a peaceful place, but in the battlefield. Shirou stared at her, his expressionless eyes met Rin's enraged eyes. She was clenching her hands while Shirou simply stared.
To be truth, Shirou had told a lie to her. A lie to make her more distant to him, he knows what he's doing is an assh*le move, but he needed to do this, not just for her, but for the people too. But to her she wasn't the most happiest about this.
Which then created quite the beef between us, from good friends to... enemies. Shirou can't quite tap on it, but the truth behind the lie would even be something that Rin would deny, which means Shirou has been hiding this lie away from her. But what Rin is unaware of is that the lie is a way to protect her.
This lead to a fight between Shirou and Rin leading to the ultimate showdown. The fight's winner was clear from the start, there was no debating about it, with his superior combat magic and battle experience, Shirou wins.
Unfortunately Rin was persistent.
Shirou went on this journey because he accepted Archer, but he very much knew nothing was always going right.
Amidst that battle, it led to one demise between one of them. But it wasn't Rin Tohsaka, but rather Emiya Shirou, who had purposely lost to satisfy her revenge. But only then she had realized what she done.
She wailed, knowing nothing can ever bring him back. While Shirou Emiya was ascending to god knows where, the throne of heroes simply took action, it used Shirou Emiya's unique magecraft and engrave it into a craft essence.
The craft essence would only be a magecraft at that point, but because it was only owned by Emiya Shirou, the memories of Emiya Shirou was simultaneously added to the craft essence eventually leading to a sentient craft essence who has literally become the concept of their own magecraft.
Thus creating the craft essence named "Projection." But because it was a craft essence and not exactly a heroic spirit, Zelretch managed to slip through the cracks and retrieve Emiya Shirou for his entertainment.
Which then created this multi-dimensional thing.
But anyways Shirou had never thought of meeting her again like this, right in front of him. Ishtar stood or rather float. She had her eyes widened, instead of her sky-blue eyes it was replaced by crimson blood signifying that the Goddess Ishtar was using her as a vessel.
Shirou only made a small gentle smile while looking at her. Then a stray tear dropped from Rin's eyes, she only approached him, walking slowly, no wait, floating slowly, yes floating slowly. "Sh-Shirou?" She stuttered while calling out his name.
His gentle smile was still there, Shirou replied with nodding...
It was a roundabout story...
Truly...
Sorry for the unexpected hiatus, do not worry I'm back now, I can update this week again because I'm on my sembreak, yay! Anyways College has been hectic. So I really want to focus on it first. But I'll try to keep active on this story. By the way, I changed parts of my story, most of my writings seemed very clumped into each other, so I tried to make it much more comfortable to read. I can always change my style of writing considering that I'm still learning, so tell me what do you guys think.
By the way I can focus more on this story now knowing that my story, the one that I was writing with a contract with my editor, who is proofreader-chan on this story, has now ended! Now I'll try to write this seriously, I hope I don't slack.
This is some long announcements by the way. As I am writing this right now familiar faces is now on making. Unfortunately proofreader-chan still has work to do so getting familiar faces 4 will be delayed for a while.
