Shirou had bought this hideous bugs sincerely for scaring people. He doesn't know if it WILL work, but come on bruh, he needs to try.
While on the cafeteria, Shirou left earlier than usual holding the plastic bugs on his hands, he also showed it to Atalanta on the way to the library. Shirou had thought Atalanta was not going to have a reaction but...
"Bah!" Shirou slammed his foot on the ground closing the distance between the two of them and throwing the plastic bugs at her. She immediately flinched and closed her eyes slapping away the bugs like a little girl trying to live. "Pfftt-" Shirou wheezed while looking at Atalanta's embarrassing actions right now.
But then he got hit straight in the balls after she finally realized it was fake. Although it was truly a blessed sight...

Shirou had reached the library on where Proto Merlin was humming while reading a book, Shirou used his presence concealment to the fullest while slowly approaching her from behind. He then made a smirk before dramatically throwing the fake bugs on the table landing on her book while she immediately flinched.
Shirou had thought that this wasn't going to work and he was jut going to embarrass himself, but...
"KYAAA!!" She screamed, like a little girl.
"HAHAHAHAHAHHAA!" Shirou immediately laughed like a maniac while holding his stomach. "HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA! OH MY SIDES HURTT!!! FUAHAHAHAH!" Shirou couldn't stop his exploding laughter while Proto Merlin pouted, having her cheeks red.
"I'll kill you." Proto Merlin said, with no expressions, only dead eyes aiming for death.
