The picture of her uniform is sadly, not working. Just read the description and use your imagination for now.

I woke up sweating and looked around confused. "Ugh!", I slump back onto my bed and sigh. It was just a nightmare, nothing more. I tried to recall it but I couldn't remember anything. "Oh my gosh! What is wrong with me?" This was just like yesterday and and the day before and the past two weeks asI woke up each night sweating and shaking but not remembering anything that had happened. I hope this doesn't keep happening, because the final exam for the Academy was next week on Saturday and I needed as much strength and energy as I could.

I was Dawn Songdancer, a flame-caster from a long line of very powerful and important Spell-singers. I would be the runt of the family if I didn't pass the exam; everyone else from my family before me has passed and I don't want to be the one to ruin that streak. I don't have that much to worry about though. I pretty gifted in my powers to control fire and could make everything from a simple flame at my fingertips to amazing display of fire designs in the sky in all the colors of the rainbows. Though I don't like to go bragging about it.

"I need to stop worrying!", I told myself," Everything will be fine!" I quickly got out of bed and got ready for the day. I had classes this morning, so I didn't have time to worry about this, I had a lot more important things to worry about. I put on the white button up top and a simple black skirt and some knee boots. Then I draped on my cape. In the beginning of each year, I could choose to wear a hat, pin, shoes or cape with the school insignia on it.

I liked the cape because it's made of super light fabric and it's enchanted so it can change color, temperature and some other things like that. Not to mention the air conditioning is a little wonky. It's run by wind and water singers and a dragon. The dragons a bit old, so you never know when the fire place in that room might burn you alive as you pass by.

Get me a cape any day other one of those pins. I mean, all the school things are indestructible and fire proof, but a pin doesn't really cover a lot of skin and last year, the only useful thing it could do was shine a dim light. No thank you. Now, as long as I wore the white top,a pin of my family's crest and the cape, I could wear anything. Grabbing my bag, I rush out my room down stairs. After having some honey bread, I rush upstairs to the Teleporter.

It's part of a whole system of them that are run by wind and earth singers. It's the only way to get to the Academy; which I probably forgot to mention is on top of secret floating island. Nobody has ever been able to find it without teleporting. Even the people in charge of the Teleporters can trace it back. Only Headmaster Orion probably does.
