Now I stood again at the Honolulu airport and let first briefly the impressions sacken, before I got into a cab. I quickly told the driver my address, then leaned back and looked out the window. I quickly sank into my thoughts and did not notice how quickly the time passed. The driver stopped and I was torn from my thoughts. I gave the driver his money and got out.
Now I was standing here alone in front of my new, small house. I stepped inside and looked around, it was notparticularly large, but it was completely sufficient for me. In fact, not muchneeds to be done at the house, I just need to make it a little cozy. Well, I have enough time, because I don't know what I will do now. The last 17 years I was hardly at home, because I was with the Navy always somewhere else.
Now it's time to come home.
