POV Narrator
No sooner had the two riders finished introducing themselves than they rushed forward, their blades colliding with each other.
Bruce Bahamut Belmont alias Moriarty Morgan, holds in his hands Rakshasa Blade, a weapon that belonged to his ancestor Ardyn Izunia, a man cursed by the Gods.
Lancelot du Lac holds Arondight, a prized sword created by the Fairy Vivian, the Lady of the Lake.
A cursed sword conceived from the soul of a broken man, who only wanted vengeance against his own blood and the gods.
A holy sword created by an impeccable Fairy, who wishes to protect her adopted daughter and her dreams of becoming a knight.
Two completely different weapons, used by people who look nothing alike, the only thing in common is their strength that sets them apart from the masses.
The impact of the two blades meeting set off a violent blast of wind that nearly knocked Merlina off her feet.
' They are strong !' Think Merlina, having to protect her face from the waves of wind, created by the clash between the swords of the two knights.
Moriarty and Lancelot continued their fight, within seconds they exchanged a dozen blows.
At first sight it seems that the two knights are on the same level, but this is the opinion of an inexperienced observer.
Merlina is not a master swordsman, preferring to learn the art of magic and the secrets of her grandfather.
But working for King Arthur, Merlina watched the knights closely, sometimes as a referee for their duels.
So Merlina has to learn a few things about sword fighting.
It's barely showing, but Lancelot is slowly gaining the upper hand with each blow. Morgan Le Fay's nephew is getting defensive.' Think Merlina, managing to notice a fundamental detail in the fight between the two knights.
The first handful of shots seem to indicate that they are on the same level.
But Lancelot seems to possess superior stamina and strength, allowing him to gain ground as the fight progresses.
After five sword strokes, Moriarty is limiting himself to blocking and deflecting Lancelot's blows.
'My hero seems to be in trouble, but I can't perceive any feelings of fear or panic, in fact he's smiling.' Merlina thinks, managing to notice a small smile on the lips of her hero invoked by her.
Does that mean he's having fun or planning a countermove?
'Maybe he's not using his full power?' Think Merlina, figuring out a key detail in Moriarty Morgan's swordplay.
