You stabbed a demon and the blood split on you. Obanai ran up to you. "Is he dead?", he asks. "Completely terminated, yes.", you answer.

Obanai puts his hand on your shoulder. "Let's catch up to the others. They're waiting.", he says. You forgot about the other hashiras who came with you to the mission. Obanai and you head back to the others.

You catched up to Giyuu and Shinobu who were discussing some things about an upper moon demon they killed. "Obanai! Y/N! You are okay!", Giyuu said. Shinobu stood there and stayed silent but her expression on her face says she is glad too we're alive.

"Let's head back to the camp. We're done here.", he continued. Obanai nods. "Let's go."

*time skip oop-*

You sat on the bench watching the sunrise. You couldn't sleep because you were thinking about the situation between you and Obanai. You love him but you also don't. He feels the same way as you. That's why your relationship is platonic. But you want to go further. The fear in you grows. 'What if, that Obanai doesn't want to go further?', you thought.

Obanai walks out of the door. "You're awake? Did you even get sleep Y/N?!" Obanai kneed down to you. "Y/N..are you okay?", he asks in worry. You stand up. "I am fine Obanai.", you answer putting on a fake smile. Obanai pulls you into a hug.

"I know you're not. And if you don't wanna talk with me, then atleast let me be with you then." You nod. "I guess, I can't lie to you anymore.", you say. Obanai raises an eyebrow. "Y/N. We grow up together. Of course I know when you're lying or not!" Obanai takes your hand.

"Let's get some food and then try to sleep, alright?" You smile. "Thank you. I love you.", you answer. You catched Obanai blushing for the first time which made your stomach explode of butterflies. "Let's get the food.", you say before he could open his mouth.
