I completely forgot about this I am sorry for not posting part  2 'till now

Charlie pov:

Since Nick doesn't know where we are going I had to drive, which is really weird since I don't usually drive. I am so scared to propose. What if he says he is not ready? What if he laughs at me? What if he doesn't actually love me and this is all a joke? Elle said he was definitely in love with me but what if she is wrong? " Hey, Char you okay babe?" "Yeah, Yeah I am fine." "You sure?" "Yes, I am fine. Why doesn't anyone ever believe me when I say that?" " Sorry Char, I just wanted to make sure you were okay." " No, I am sorry. I yelled at you when you were trying to make sure I was fine." " I love you." " I love you too Nicky."

Nick pov:

Charlie has been really stressed and has been kind of short-tempered, which usually means something has happened or something is bothering him. But when I asked him he just got mad. I'll try to ask him again tonight. One thing I have learned is if something is bothering Charlie it is best not to keep asking him. It makes him really upset.  "Nick we are almost there you have to put this blindfold on," Charlie said breaking my train of thought. "Okay, but only if you promise not to drive us into a wall." "Fine. I promise I won't."

Time Skip

Charlie's pov:

It was time to propose. We had just finished eating the array of food I packed for a picnic.

Here goes nothing. "Nick?" "Yes?" "I have been wanting to do this for a while," I said as I got down on one knee. "You are the best boyfriend I could ever ask for. You were my first kiss, my first boyfriend, and my first love. And no matter what you say I will love you until I die. Will you marry me?"

Nick pov:

Charlie... he ... asked me to marry him. I feel like I can't move. Like I can't breathe. Suddenly everything goes black and I feel an immense amount of pain as I hit the ground with a thud.

Charlie pov:

"Nick?" "Nick?" I said a little louder. "Nick?" Nick." "Nick." At this point, I was practically screaming. No matter how much I shook him or how much I screamed he did not wake up. When Sarah heard my screaming she ran out of her house. Thankfully we were in Nick's backyard and not in some random place. "Charlie, sweetie, what's wrong?" "Nick," I said sobbing. "I asked him to marry me and he passed out and he won't wake up. I don't know what to do." "Charlie, baby it's okay. Let's call an ambulance." Several minutes later I was in the back of an ambulance holding Nick's hand and crying. I need him to wake up.

Time skip

Nick pov:

I woke up but I couldn't see anything and there was an immense pain in the back of my head and on my back. I managed to croak out "Charlie?" It was then that I realized someone was holding my hand and crying. More panicked this time I said"Charlie." I needed to know where he was. I needed to tell him I would marry him. "Oh, Baby you're awake! Let me go tell the doctors." The person next to me was Charlie. At that point, I was starting to be able to see. Everything was a bit blurry but I could still see. "NO! Charlie don't leave me!" "Baby I have to tell the doctors that you're awake." "Wait I have to tell you something." "What is it, Nicky?" "Yes." "Yes?" "Yes, I want to marry you." I didn't realize I was crying until Charlie came over and wiped my eyes. "OH, baby. I love you so much. I am so glad you said yes. Now can I go get the doctor?" "Yes." Turns out I just stood up to fast and was way to hot.

10 years later

And that is how we got married. Our 7 adopted children, Alia, Stephen, Charlie jr., Joseph, Sofie, Lee, and Cecilia, always loved the story of our engagement.

Happily ever after
