Napalingon ako sa phone screen ko nang marinig ko yong buntong hininga na pinakawalan ni Savannah. Sobrang lalim non, parang pasan niya lahat ng problema sa Pilipinas.

"Penny for your thoughts?" I said making her turn to me.

We're on a video call through Instagram, gusto niya raw makita yong mga sisiw at pano ko sila e prepare for their transportation to my province. Pagka gising ko text niya agad yong bumungad sa akin. Sobrang caring naman sa mga sisiw.

"They're expensive, my thoughts." she said and sigh once again.

Ang attitude talaga neto, kaya wala masyadong kaibigan eh. Sarap nila pag buholin ni Bless.

"Stop sighing like that. It made me think that you have a huge problem."

"Are you taking a cab?" 

"No. I'm taking the bus."

"Where are you putting the chicks then?"

"Uh, by my side?"

"You sound unsure."

"Kinda, but I'll figure that one out later."

"How far is your province from the city?"

"Six hours."

"What the heck? How about their food?"

"They won't die from hunger miss ma'am. I already fed them last night and as for now, they're on a diet para di sila tumae ng tumae sa bus." 

"Six hours is a long time! I'll drive you to your province if that's the case. I will bring my pick up truck." She said and got off from her bed.

Grabe talaga concern niya sa mga sisiw, masyadong animal lover naman tong taong to. Sarap sakalin.

"Teka teka teka!" I stopped her kaya napahinto din siya.  "You don't have to do that."

"I just want the best for the chicks."

"Same here miss ma'am." Sabi ko and put my hands on my waist. I'm standing right in front of my phone kaya kitang kita niya whole body ko.

"I don't think so." She said and went back to her bed.

"Aba naman. Ano sa tingin mo ginagawa ko ngayon? Babyahe ako na may dala dalang cage para madala sila sa healthy environment." I said and now crossed my arms against my chest.

She didn't say anything, then from her face her phone screen suddenly faces her ceiling. Ganda ng kisame niya ah, mas mabuti pang yan harapin ko kesa sa mukha niyang nakabusangot.

I shook my head and let her be, nagpatuloy nalang ako sa pag double check ng mga gamit ko para ma sure na wala akong makakalimutan sa two weeks stay ko sa probinsya. After ko masigurado na wala akong nakalimutan ay nilingon ko ang phone ko at napamura nong makita ko half ng mukha ni Savannah.

"Leche naman!" I cursed silently kasi para siya yong babae sa The Ring kasi yong buhok niya natatabunan yong half ng mukha niya eh.

"Ano?" I asked when she didn't say anything and just stared at me.

"Let me drive you."

I sigh and get ahold of my phone. "Masyadong malayo Savannah."

"I'll bring Emmanuel with me."

"Nandamay ka pa." I scoffed.

"He's our driver, it's his job to drive. Duh."

Natawa ako and shook my head. "You're too caring towards the chicks, sana all sisiw."
