O L I V I A

Savannah watches me with her eyebrows furrowed, she then looks at the man serving the food and then goes back to me.

"What?" I finally asked because she's been giving me that look when I was ordering earlier.

"That's a lot of food, Olivia."

"I know, I can see that."

She raised one eyebrow at my answer, "Don't be too sarcastic, woman."

I chuckled at her and reached for her hand above the table that separates us.

"I'm sorry, baby." I said as I squeezed her hand. "I can eat them all, I swear." I assured her and thanked the man who finally put down the last piece of serving then he left.

"That's so unhealthy." She grimaced.

"I know, but this is just tonight."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yes. Can I eat now?" Tanong ko kasi natatakam na ako.

"Go, why are you asking me?" She said, lumalabas nanaman yong attitude niya.

"Because I don't talk when I have something in my mouth."

"Yet you bicker with Stacey with your mouth full of food." She dismissed and grab her phone and start on scrolling her screen.

I just shook my head and started eating, I was enjoying my foods while Savannah's busy with her phone. After a while I was done with my rice meal so I grab my burger and started eating it as well together with my fries and sundae. Oh damn, this is heaven.

"I have a question." Savannah suddenly said.

"Hmm?" I hummed since I am still munching on my fries.

"Where did Bless's cousin came from? I feel like everyone's shocked seeing her."

I swallowed my food and took a sip from my coke before answering her question. "She went to Berkeley as an exchange student. It was supposedly for a year but she decided to continue her studies there and graduated last year."

"Oh, she's ahead of you?"

"Us. She's ahead of us." I corrected her and wipe my lips with a tissue.

"Technically, but me and Gold should've graduated three years ago." She said.

"Woah, I didn't know that. What happened?"

"We've got into an accident. He was in a coma for two months and I was doing physical therapy to recover from it so yeah, it took us two years to be able to attend school again."

"An accident?" My eyes doubled in size, kaya ba ayaw niya nauupo sa harapan?

"Car accident. That's why I don't like sitting in the front seat. Kinda brings me memories." She shrugged.

That explains her asking people if they were a good driver. What the hell, I had no idea about this.

"Oh my gosh, when did it happen?"
