Lucia pulls herself out of the driver's seat, popping open the back of the van. Amity and Luz instantly grab what they can, and start walking their things to the cabin down the path. Amelia and Lucia take their time, but they quickly take whatever else is left in the van, with Lucia slamming the door shut with some flare. Amelia laughs and places a quick peck on the shorter woman's cheek.

Considering the situation between the four of them, they learned to get creative with some of their dates. Sure, Luz and Amity could go out together and not raise an eyebrow, the same applied to Lucia and Amelia. But any other option raised red flags. So on days like this, where the four of them really wanted to make everyone feel special, the dates got elaborate really quickly. There had been public park picnics (on days when the parks were largely empty), group movie nights at the theatres, theme park visits, road trips, conventions, and the list went on. A lot of the time, if they wanted privacy between the four of them, they needed to make the date a little longer than just a day or a night out.

Thankfully, renting a cabin out in the woods for a weekend is pretty cheap for four people.

By the time Amelia and Lucia got inside, their siblings were finished organizing what they had brought with them and were busy inspecting the one bed the cabin offered.

"It's a little small," Amity muses.

"Oh noooo," Luz feigns despair, "How ever will we handle this! The bed is too small, and there's only one! I guess we just will have to snuggle even closer than we normally do."

The younger women laugh up a storm, Amelia smiling wide while Lucia rolls her eyes with a smirk. "You're corny as shit, sis," Lucia teases.

Amelia jabs an elbow into the older Noceda's ribs. "Be nice! This is supposed to be our romantic weekend, you know."

"I've been cooped up in a car for three hours, lemme have some fun!"

The four start to set up and quickly pack things away, making sure to split whatever storage space there is and keep everything as organized as they can. By the time it was all done it was just a little past noon. Amelia looks over the guest book and information book left by the front door. The cabin was owned by a farmer not too far off the property, but from what they all understood once you got there you were left alone for your stay, minus breakfast on Sunday mornings.

Songbirds and trickling streams filled their ears, carried by a gentle breeze. The women were walking hand in hand down one of the many trails the area had to offer. The path is covered in shade and wildflowers. Amelia smiles down at the others. "It's gorgeous out here. I'm really glad we were able to make this work!"

Lucia hums, "I think I've got all the beauty in the world standing next to me, but you're right, it's really pretty."

Luz squeezes Amity's hand, getting a quick kick in her step. She fights back a squeal, "I love seeing the mountains! I'll never get tired of this place."

Amity laughs and takes a deep breath in, shutting her eyes. The smell of pinecones and fresh air fill her lungs and she feels her shoulders fall as she lets the breath go. When her eyes flutter back open, she's greeted by the sight of Luz and Lucia giving her looks of pure adoration. She squeaks as they both plant kisses on her cheeks and turns to look at Amelia, who's busy grinning at the three of them.

"So what's this big romantic plan you have in store for us, hm?" Amity asks. Amelia rolls her eyes playfully. Luz turns to face her too, eyes twinkling.

"Yeah," Luz chirps, "What is it?"

Lucia gives Amelia a gentle prod. "You have been hyping it up all week, why so quiet now, hermosa?"
