I hum away as I play video games. Just enjoying the afternoon as if life was normal. Ian was in the kitchen. Making us something to eat.

Today is the tri-centennial and well uh whatever. I'm not going. History is dumb. Well it can be interesting but like not this.

That's what I said at least. Now I'm standing there. Ian is at home at the moment and is so pissed at Wendy for the nail gun thing. I have a cast around my arm and it makes Ian go nuts at the fact that Wendy was part of the reason that I gotta wear it. Erin decided to go to a mental asylum so she can be perfectly safe in a safe place. Smart move.

I look at Kevin who was on edge with his anxiety and I smile his way.

"Kevin. Calm down. I'm here to help" I say as he sighs. He tries to relax a but as we walk around

Wendy notices her sister was next and as we run over to her, a horse snaps the peg from the ground. Julie moves as her friend Perry gets impailed by the horse. People start running fast. People were terrified that the horse killed someone.

I look at the picture of Julie. Her friend was in the pick. And there was a horse behind her. It's funny how death can work like this. How it can match up on purpose.

Suddenly I see Ian walking into the area and Wendy and Kevin start telling him to leave.

He looks like he's having an insanity attack. Like literally is like Jason Dean from the Heather's at the moment.

"Go away Ian! " Wendy says as he smirks. He looks attractive. Insane. But attractive as hell.

"Just celebrating Wendy! " he says as he walks closer.

He notices me and smirks a bit.

"Touch Y/n and you die" he says as Wendy and Kevin share a look.

"Ian you can't be here-" Kevin starts to say.

"Then why are you guys? " he asks.

"Cause we are" says Wendy.

"Well it doesn't matter! I'm not gonna die! " he says as fireworks are suddenly launched to behind Ian.

"See! It skipped me! I'm not gonna die! You are gonna Wendy. You are next" he says as I notice the cherry picker about to collapse.

My eyes widen as I basically launch myself at Ian.

Adrenaline was all over my body. It made me run even faster. A speed I never knew I could run at.

I push him right out of the way as it falls down.

We roll over to the side. Me ending on top of him.

It takes him a moment to notice the big fallen sign that laid beside him.

When he noticed that I was on top of him, meaning I saved him, he hugs me.

"Holy shit. Y/n..." He says as Wendy and Kevin walk over.

"I told you so" Kevin says as Ian looks at me.

I'm panting from the sudden use of speed. Arms bruised from the impact of the push.

My eyes are shut as I try to breathe.

Ian hugs me as he slowly sits up.

"I'm so sorry... " he mumbles as I open my eyes.

"No I get it. You watched me get hurt and then you snapped. It happens" I say as he nods and kisses me.

"Yea but I was being an ass" he says as we slowly get up.

"I'm sorry guys" he says as Wendy smiles.

"You thought it skipped you. You snapped. It happens" she says.

Julie walks over as Wendy pulls her in for a hug. Then we head home.
