Chapter Four

I woke up and we were pulling up in the driveway of Matts house. The drive back home was 2 hours. Now that I slept, I was extremely hyper. This is gonna be crazy. We all ran into the house and thought of what to do. I keep finding myself looking at Hayes. I mean you gotta admit, he's pretty cute... wait hold up..... I just met him why am I doing this? I just shook it of and said, "Guys what do you think we should do?" I asked. "I don't know... How about we go to the grocery store and get as much junk food and candy as possible!" Nash screams. We all look at each other. it's 1:38 am but screw it! "LETS DO IT!" We all scream at once and Matt and Nash grab their wallets because me and Hayes are broke. We walk out to the car and start our 10 minute drive to Target.
It's pitch black out and we all can't see that well. Hayes ends up running into an old lady. And after we apologize, we laugh way too hard. I feel like I've known Nash and Hayes all my life... It feels good. We run through the automatic screen doors. We all split up and are assigned different things to get. I go to the junk food aisle and start packing up. First I get Swiss rolls, oatmeal cakes, brownie bites, donuts, fruit snacks, twinkies, and so much more. Hayes got skittles, starburst, suckers, sour patch kids, Swedish fish, lifesavers, gummy bears and gummy worms. Nash and Matt come back with a pizza, chips and soda. We are seriously gonna get fat...
We pay and its $37.23. We get home and start a movie. We fight over which one to watch and I protest for Perks of being a Wallflower. They all look at each other and agree with me. None of them but me has seen the movie. Matt starts the movie and I sit down by myself with the junk food I wanted and pizza with root beer. I felt kinda lonely. I see Hayes texting someone so I lean over a bit but not too much for him to see me.
*Convo*
Julie: Hey babe. What's up?
Hayes: nothing much. Just watching a movie. Why are you texting me so late?
Julie: I saw a picture of you hugging a girl 3 hours ago.... explain.
Hayes: oh uh she's my cousin...
Julie: oh umm ok.
Hayes: gotta go
Julie: By love you.
Hayes: love you too.
It shocked me a little that he had a girlfriend... He seemed kinda flirty with me but that's none of my bees wax. *sips tea* I scoot over a little and get comfortable. After that he seemed way less flirty. Most girls would be okay with it but I'm kinda mad because I started to like him a little bit. Now if he tried to get with me, I would play hard to get. Also he lied... I don't know. I just watched the movie and finished my pizza.
Matt was getting really into the movie and it was really funny because he was leaning over the couch and staring intensely and shoving pizza in his face. Nash was sitting cross crossed on the huge couch and wiping his eyes because it was a sad part of the movie. Hayes was a couple scoots away from me on social media or texting. I rolled my eyes. He's not even trying to socialize with me or the boys. That bothered me. Wait... why would there be a picture of me and Hayes hugging?
That really freaked me out. I leaned over to Matt and said, "Matt so I was leaning over and I saw Hayes' convo with his girlfriend and she said she saw a picture of me and Hayes hugging... Where would she get that from? Because why would a random person take a picture of me and him?" Then he said, "Brooke... You know he's famous right? He has millions of followers on social media. Same with Nash. His fans probably took that picture." I looked at him with a surprised look. "What?!" I said a little loud. Nash and Hayes both looked at me. "What?" Hayes said. "Why didn't any of you tell me you were internet famous?" I said getting a little mad. They looked at me and then at eachother. "Well... we thought you knew. But who told you that?" Hayes said. I pointed at Matt and he raised his hand slowly. "I wish you would've told me!" I said. Hayes just looked away and went back on his phone. Jerk.
The movie was almost done and I was still mad so I just went up to my room. "Brooke? Where are you going?" Hayes asked. "Why would you care Hayes? Just stop talking to me." I really wanted to punch him right here and now. He lied to me and his girlfriend and also didn't tell me he was famous AND isn't socializing with any of us and just staring at his freakin phone. I walked upstairs and plopped on my bed. I breathed out really slowly just trying to calm down.
I ended up not being able to sleep so I just went on my phone and texted Matt.

Me- How's everything going on down there?
Matt- Not good. Hayes is in a pissy mood because of what happened.
Me- good. He should be.
Matt - You know you over reacted a little. They thought you knew.
Me- that's not the whole reason I'm upset. When he was texting his girlfriend he said that the girl that he was hugging was his cousin. When it was really me... you can tell I like him but I don't want to get in a relationship were he is lying. But geuss that won't be happening cuz he has a GF...
Matt- Really? He lied? Well that was stupid of him. And you like him?
Me- a little.
Matt- awe baby sis!

I smiled at how much I loved him. I could tell him anything and he would understand. Maybe... Right when I turned my phone off, someone knocked on my door. "Come in!" I yelled. Someone walked through the door and that person sat on my bed. "Hayes?" I said...

AHHHH CLIFFHANGER! Ok so sorry for not updating for a while I just had some family time this weekend but I made a really long chapter. I made it to 1000 words! 😍✌🏽️ But I will be updating tomorrow or the next day. Anyway, love you all! 😘😘
