"Have you brought your clothes with you Samuel?" His mother called from the phone.

"Yes, I told you like ten times I packed all my clothes." Samuel said placed the folded clothes on the bed.

"Your blankets for when you get cold?"

"Yes eomma I have all the blankets I need."

"Your toothbrush and toothpaste too? It's important to have good hygiene."

"Eomma I told you multiple times! Is there anything else you need to remind?" Samuel said already at the end of his patience.

"That's everything. . . Just know that I'm proud of you, my son. I know how hard you worked to become a full-fledged idol. Study hard in school, listen to what JYP-nim tells you, and enjoy yourself out there." His mother said softly.

"Thanks eomma." Samuel chuckled before he heard the phone hang up.

"Sound like your mommy loves you." Changbin laughs.

"She can be too much at times, but she's a great person to be around. It was because of her that I kept going on pursuing Kpop." Samuel explains.

Both Bangchan and Changbin squealed at their maknae's wholesome relationship.

"You will have this bed here maknae, Changbin and I are going to share the bunk beds." Bangchan said setting his things on the top of the bunk bed.

"I'm going to sleep hyungs, tomorrow is going to be another day of dodging the fans." Samuel half joked at his plight.

Ever since enrolling things have been tumultuous getting adjusted to public life, he found himself in the struggling to concentrate. Of course, he was used to this type of behavior beforehand in middle school when he would receive love letters. Sometimes it would be almost every week he lost count after he found a bunch them scatter to the ground when he tried to open his locker. In a way it was a blessing and a curse because he would always get attention no matter what he did, but sometimes those compliments can get very jarring. He only hopes the hype around his debut would die down so he can focus his studies and grow as an idol.

His dreams began to shift into the only girl he could call a friend: Jeon Somi. Yes, her large eyes that are always happy when she sees him, those juicy lips that smile when she speaks, that light hazelnut hair that everybody knows her for. She had a mix of Caucasian and Korean features that truly highlighted her unique beauty. He can't put it to words, but there was something about her that made him feel happy. Maybe it's the fact she treats him like person, not object to ogle at. He found that he can truly be himself around her. Their bond is akin to close siblings.

She was just sitting there laughing away, she had an inviting presence that naturally he sat down. He couldn't remember the talk, but it was something sweet and then they began holding hands before the two drew their faces together for an inevitable kiss only to interrupted by the sound of Bangchan's loud voice.

"Oi kid what's the matter with you I called you like ten times! It's time for you to go to school." Bangchan threw Samuel his uniform for him to put in.

"Sorry Chan, I've had a dream of sorts" Samuel said with a blush.

"Sounds like you did, hope it wasn't anything inappropriate." Bangchan ruffled his hair before him and Changbin close the door.

"What is he, my eomma or something." Samuel groaned, putting his khakis and shirt. He looked at him at the mirror doing various cute poses.

"What does Somi think about my uniform?" he thought to himself. He adjusted the tie for the third time, he's still learning how to put it on so don't judge him.
